Allied Tools 8" LONG NOSE PLIERS,90527

I purchased the 5" MINI NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS to replace an old pair that were hard to open and close. This pair is perfect, since it has a mechanism that automatically reopens the pliers without needing two hands. I primarily use them to open cat food plastic containers by ripping off the cover's tab. I highly recommend this product ... even arthritic hands can use these needle nose pliers!

Cheap so I didn't expect much. The tips don't end in a point rather squared off and doesn't align properly when closed.

Good value for the money.

Handle materials and pliars are first quality. Very good deal for this product.

Well, it's a pair of cheap pliers, what do you expect? The legs are not well aligned like other reviewers mentioned so you can't use it on anything small or fine. Worse though, in my opinion, is that there is no way to lock them shut for storage. On the plus side, it was cheap, still semi-functional, and comfortable in my medium-sized hands. I would look elsewhere if possible.

Great product, as described.

I bought this set of pliers for my grandson who has recently developed a strong interest in spin fishing. I also gave him a rod and reel set and a tacklebox full of fishing essentials. We are catch and release fishermen, so pliers are essential for pinching barbs and for hands-free fish releasing.

A little on the flimsy side but for the price they're pretty good.

These pliers are very well made.
