SOL 12pc Acrylic Paint Set, Large 120ml Tubes, Water Based Acrylic Paints

Bought these to work on creating a hill diorama for a trainset layout. The paints mix perfectly fine and I am more than happy with the selection of colours and quantity for the price. The paintbrushes included were fine and it was nice to have everything in the one box to get started. Coverage was good, had no problems at all over other paint, mod rock or mod podge. But........ When dried the paint has a matt finish. For me on this project that was fantastic as I didn't need additional work to tone down any sheens on the rocks but it may be problematic for other uses. The image shows a brown basecoat with a flat grey mix dabbed over lightly followed by some black and white drybrush shading and highlights, overall I am impressed how it turned out for little effort and thats down to the paint. After a couple of days rubbing it did not remove any trace so it adhered very well. I would certainly buy again for a similar project where a matt finish is prefered.

These acrylic paints are great value for money and the colours are sharp and clear, will buy again when needed. Many thanks Amazon for prompt service and quick delivery,

Good selection of colours quite large in size.easy to use.

After trying printed labels a markers i purchased these, i needed about four or more different colours, these arrived and the tubes hold lots of paint, very easy to apply and working perfectly, it seems very good value to me and you even get small paint brushes, i'm impressed and would not hesitate to buy again.

These are great for kids... it takes a few coats to achieve a decent finish, they're a bit runny compared to some but you get what you pay for, lots of colours, basic paints

Used for window painting, and they worked great!

Fantastic really enjoyed using them

Ordered the SOL 12pc Acrylic Set. Every single tube arrived frozen/defective. The white is dry chalky powder inside, yellow is thick lumpy cottage cheese texture, the rest are separated into watery liquid and clumps. None of them will mix, blend or cover - totally unusable for any painting. Clearly been stored in freezing conditions. I’ve used acrylics for years, this isn’t normal thick paint, it’s destroyed. I tried to return and was offered £1.09 to keep a £13.48 faulty set. Had to get Amazon to refund the full amount. If yours arrives, open and squeeze every tube straight away. Photo shows the split white tube and lumpy texture.
