The online assessments are a bit hard to use but the book is useful.

My daughter found this very helpful to prepare her for the assessment test. The online practice tests that you can access through the practice book helped her get used to the real format of the test and also go over the wrong answers right after she's finished with the practice test. The explanations were sometime hard to follow with some minor typos but overall a good prep material.

Nice for prepping

Bought this for my fourth grader in anticipation for the standardized test.Trying to grade the answers is terrible! The format and the structure of this book is poorly designed.The explanations are extremely poor. Well there is a QR code to access additional learning, my faith in the content online is low given the poor design and format of the hardcopy book.

Access to online assessment that helps pinpoint standards to work on instead of completing entire workbook. I was shocked how big the book was when it arrived and overwhelmed at first, but between the assessment, the organization of the book, and how straightforward everything is presented, I was very pleased.

The passages are good and at level. We like the variety of format and not just multiple choices. But we find the format can be improved and not the easiest to find the answer key with the way it was formatted.

We purchased the SBAC ELA Test prep book early in the year. It is a good practice book offering a variety of reading passages(literature and informational). There is an an entire chapter on Grammar which is helpful.

This has helped my class review for SBAC. We don’t always have time to cover all that will be on the tests and definitely not in the format I appears. This helps so much!
