Good 18ga brad nailer
Arrived in the timeframe stated by Amazon well packaged and undamaged. Overall it comes with everything you need except for the brad nails. Included was the brad nailer, 1 2ah battery, 1 charger, 1 large tool bag, 3 rubber nose tips(1 already installed on tool). This brad nailer is kind of bulky and a little on the heavy side. The nose is fine and allows you to shoot into angled spaces easily. Out of the box the brad nailer didn't need any depth adjustment for trim. There's 2 leds on the lower part of the nailer to illuminate the work area. The brad nailer has 2 firing settings, Single fire and Rapid fire. Single fire shoots 1 brad per trigger pull and the Rapid fire shoots continuously by holding the trigger and bumping the tip along the work piece. There's a view opening on the brad magazine which allows you to see whether there are brads in it or not. The nailer has a low brad lockout function and will not fire if the brads are low. The nailer also has an easy and effortless way to clear jams. Overall this nailer is great for my needs and performs as expected. I've been very satisfied with my purchases of DeWalt cordless tools so far. I plan on purchasing a couple more of tools in the 20V Max tool collection in the near future and definitely more batteries

Worked wonderfully! Love Dewalt tools.
We love Dewalt tools! We built and off grid cabin and hated the thought of having to load and trailer in our large compressor for finishing work. This brad nailer worked wonderfully. A perfect addition to our assortment of Dewalt tools. I (the wife) could handle without any problem.

Great Tool
Love this Brad Nailer , used a cheaper one for a while and it was horrible , Ryobi . This one handles great , the tip is a lot smaller it seems than the Ryobi and you can get into places the cheaper thing couldn't - battery life is moot point , I'm still using the cheaper 2ah battery in it but have done probably 40-45 hits with 1 charge so far , did almost 2 full rooms of molding , I opted for the Dewalt brand nails and they seem to work a bit better than Arrow or the Meika ones . It comes with a bag and a tiny charger for emergency use , it wasn't the charger pictured - the Dewalt box and the outer box was opened and taped up when I received it . The depth adjustment is very tight and hard to turn - hopefully it will loosen up a little over time . The weight is marginal , it feels less than the other ones I've used , you can 1 hand it and turn ect. very easily - it goes from 5/8" to over 2.5" easily. All in All a great Buy

One of the best tools I've ever bought!
I'm a homeowner and DIY-er. I was on the fence between this unit and a pneumatic nailer with a small compressor. My cellar is already pretty full, so I ultimately decided that the last thing I needed down there was another bulky item (the compressor) and hoses to coil, etc. I also anticipated using whatever nailer I got around the house, so the choice between lugging a 20-30 lb compressor up and down the stairs or this 5lb tool also factored into my decision. Noise was a consideration as well. Boy, did I make the right choice! I fell in love with this tool after the very first 'nail' I shot. Super-quiet compared to a pneumatic nailer and surprisingly easy to get into small corners and spaces. And no tank to lug around or hoses to coil! I couldn't be happier with this tool. Even though 18-gauge is relatively small, for the projects I need to do (trim, building plywood boxes and shelves, etc.) it's more than up to the job. The per-tool cost will be more expensive if I end up investing in other gauges down the line, but the portability of this thing more than makes up for that in my view. Once my cellar is more cleared out, I may still get a compressor - mainly to be able to blow off work pieces and inflate the tires on my car - but in my view this tool was worth every penny I spent. Build quality seems really good and I've found it really simple to use. My only two nit-picks are that the depth-gauge indicator is extremely hard to read (black on black) and the extra nose cushons that Dewalt supplies are easy to dislodge from their on-board storage spots. Be careful or you'll lose 'em quick! I should also note that I bought a 5 amp hour battery at the suggestion of another reviewer who mentioned that it balanced the tool better in-hand than the smaller 2 amp hour batter that's included. I also found that to be true. FWIW, I bought a lower-cost after-market battery that was 30% the price of the Dewalt-branded battery as I was mainly using it for balance. Seems to work great, though. As someone new to power nailers, I couldn't be happier with this gauge and this tool. Really, really impressed.

Great product, a must own for finish people
I love this nailer! I have been waiting for this product for years. I used to own the Paslode and always hated it! Gas cartridges!! yuck. I was worried that this would be too heavy or not enough power but...its all good. Of course its a bit heavier than an air nailer but not so much that it wears you out. And power? I think its just as good as my air nailer. I have used it for 6 weeks now, mainly installed oak shoe molding and I am loving it. I don't have to lug around the compressor and hose and listen to that noise all day. This is quiet and battery works a long time, no problems with it. I pair this with the Dewalt 20v miter saw and now I don't have to plug anything in and no worries about limited power on job sites. One thing I don't like is that it seems like most of these types of products don't come with a nice hard case anymore. It comes with a nice zip up bag but for the of us who haul things around in a van this will end up getting crushed at some point. I have opted to purchase a small black systainer case that is made by the company that makes them for Festool and I love it. $72 on Amazon and it fits perfectly with battery and nails and coping saw. Locks into my Festool sanders! The price is a bargain. Please feel free to ask me any questions about it I use many times a week
