Perfect for heavier key sets and accessories. Got the pair for me and my wife who has way too much stuff on her keys and tends to still lose them. The bage reel hold up her numerous keys and the lanyard is perfect for however she wants to attach them.

I use this for a permenant marker leash at work. It has been perfect for that application. I work in shipping and need to write job numbers on pallets after they’re wrapped in shrink wrap for inventory purposes. I write it cap it and let go so I can move to the next task. Before I had to get it back into my tool belt or pocket etc. the steel cable seems very strong. As well as the spring that retracts it. I would imagine this would hold quite a bit of keys without the weight pulling it out. Definitely not like a lighter leash, much stronger.

I originally got this to attach my cbd vape to. It worked so well I got another for just my keys bc my flimsy one I got from Bath and Body Works kept being pulled super low by the weight of my keys. I also never have a pen so now I never need to rummage for a pen.

As a commercial electrician, I lose pens, pencils, and markers way too often and so far this is the best item I have found for that use. I wasn't certain which style I would prefer, neck strap or carabiner, but was leaning toward carabiner. I was happy to receive one of each but wish it came with 2 straps and 2 carabiners. I understand it is easier to offer one item with multiple options than to have two or more separate packages to manufacture and inventory, which is why I'd prefer 2 straps and 2 carabiners. In my opinion, trying to use all attachments at the same time is unnecessary, let alone too cumbersome. I think using a neck lanyard for keys is irritating because they swing around too much so, I'd rather have keys attached closer to my body within a few inches. Pros: *Cord length is plenty long for my reach. *Wire cable seems strong. *Carabiner is just the right size to clip onto most items. *Carabiner seems heavy duty for this use, metal rather than the cheap aluminum ones this size. *Good value. *Lots of attachment options, keep one or multiple. *The two writing utensil rubber bands and the spring clasp are slim and light enough to leave on in case I want to use them. *Rubber bands hold permanent markers and your standard Bic pen and #2 pencils really well. Cons: *The badge holder is not detachable so I had to cut it off, because I'll never use it. *The neck strap is a bit long so items hang too low for my preference. *I would have liked two carabiners and two straps so I could have the option on both lanyards.

These are good when they work my first one retracted good the other one I had to trash it u would pull out the string and it would not go back in

I bought these for work. I work in a restaurant and I have a pen on one my key card on the holder, a permanent marker one one and my locker key on the other and I still have 1 spot to spare. Super helpful since pens/makers get stolen anytime you put them down. Now I always have what I need. The stretchy option is awesome as well. So far I have been using this for a month or so and it has held up great! Very handy and it has held up wonderfully so far.
