The fabric is a thinner cotton. I think you could iron on print, but i wok to iron over the zipper.

Yes I would use a mini press on medium heat or small travel iron on a dry setting with a towel or small heat pillow.

I think that it can be attached to a bag or lanyard securely . It’s sewn in the side with a tight stitch. Hope this helps.
