Can you fit a 3×5 notepad?

Sorry, it doesn't fit 3*5 notepad, viperade VE1-VE3-VE4 will fit 3.5 notepad.

Can the pocket fit a normal sized pack of 52 playing cards?

I think that the cards are too fat for the pocket, you would stretch it so that you could not fit knives or tools in the smaller pockets. But, i do not have a deck of cards to try it with. Perhaps one of the other VIPERADE pouches would work?
