Nostalgic Impressions Glass Inkwell-Vintage-style Writer's Desk Inkwell

I like the look and sturdiness, but find it shallow for use. Because of its angle it must always be full to dip properly.

I really like this inkwell, and it will be perfect on my desk while I complete calligraphy lessons. The slant is exactly what I wanted except for one little thing - the top is open for dipping my pen instead of a solid/closed top. The problem for me is that my cat has already discovered that she can stick her paw in so after I fill the inkwell I envision inky kitty paw prints all over the house. Not a good thing. Overall, if you don't have a cat as mischievous as mine, this ink well is perfect for pointed pen calligraphy.

The description of this item is wrong. It clearly says "Unit Count 16 Count" and that the price per unit is " ($1.50 / Count)". Imagine my surprise when the shipment arrived and there was only one item? I have previously complained and was told that the description would be corrected - that was months ago and it has still not been corrected.

Well. It's nicer to use than my ink bottles, but it's still quite difficult to maneuver the nob to get it full of ink. There's no lid, sadly. So each time you use it you have to transfer the ink to and from the bottle. I may enjoy it more later on, but right now it's just alright.

The inkwell is poorly made. The glass stopper hole that the pen fits into is off-center. The stopper is more than 1/8" smaller than the mouth, and falls out whenever a pen is rested in it. I suppose I got the quality that I paid for, so this purchase was a $20 rip-off that I will not repeat.

Nice ink well. I purchased one in Italy but it arrived broken in my luggage. I ordered this one as it was an exact replacement.

This is a very nice bottle. It is great for my glass pen. It looks old fashioned and elegant. Like something a Victorian lady would have on her etagiere. It makes me feel fancy.
