Great price for these cartridges. Ordered 4 and they shipped fast. Have one in printer now and it prints great. So proud to find these items for this great price. Just hope they last as long as the HP or half as long will be great. Hope all 4 work good. Will give another update later on cartridges , but soo far, so Great! Will buy again if all works and prints great like this first one has done soo far. Fast shipping also. UPDATE: those cartridges are really good. I did have problems with first one I used but it finally straightened itself out with our Good Lords help! Yes , Thank you Jesus. These are well worth the money! I’ve bought these several times since then. Last order I received, it did have the right number for cartridges and right box. But inside, the wrong cartridges were sent. They would not work. I do not believe Amazon made that mistake at all., I had to ship back and order from a different seller bc I couldn’t get in touch with seller. I ordered same thing but from a different seller. I didn’t want the wrong cartridges replaced with the wrong cartridges again. They are great Laser Jet Ink Cartridges!

I am going to make this review concise. I took a chance with these cartridges, and you better believe that I am glad I did. I usually purchase the HP 83A Black Toner Cartridge for around $83.00. This price is for a single Toner cartridge. I decided to research this brand and read reviews. I will give this product Five (5) stars and plan to purchase this brand in the future. s. Purchased this Four (4) pack of Toner cartridges for $39.99! Cannot tell any difference between the brand name and the HaloFox Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacements for HP CF283A 83A HP.

This is my second time purchasing this item. First time was about 4 years ago. I do a lot of printing and having extra cartridges on hand is a must. The ink level in each is sufficient for about a year. Easy to install and compatible with my printer.

I Teach 6th grade Science at a Title 1 School. We can go through a lot of copies, and our county counts them and only uses ancient Riso Machines. These work best with a min. of 50 copies. I use my HP 3 in 1 in my classroom to make copies of the worksheets the kids do to keep down their writing time and optimize their learning time. I tend to make just enough for 2 class periods at a time, to keep down on the paper waste, which equals money out of my pocket and the Tax payers of the county I teach in. I go through around 8-12 toners a year, sometimes it feels like more, but I just have to check my orders on Amazon to see. HaloFox 83a Toner has been good to and for me, making it easy and cheaper than HP toner to give my "Special" kids the paper copies to copy from etc. for their accommodations, if your kid gets them or you teach, you know what I speak of. It costs me with paper and toner only $5 a ream to print anything I need or want. 83a Toner by HaloFox is good quality Toner, and fits my printer with no weird maneuvers to get it to work like my toners for my Brother from EZInk. Get yourself a good Laser printer, and order a case of HaloFox Toner.

At this point, I can only speak for the first 30-40 pages printed by the first of four HaloFox toner cartridges using an HP LaserJet Pro M201dw, but I'm extraordinarily impressed so far. I can't tell the difference in print quality from the previous HP toner cartridge. I printed a bordered table using a 10-point font with top/bottom margins of 0.3" and left/right margins of 0.35" and the entire document was crisp and clean out to the edges. Not only can't I smudge the print with my thumb, but when I print sheet music, write fingering on it in pencil, and then make erasures and corrections, my eraser removes only the pencil, not the printed notes. I can also see "supplies status" with this toner cartridge as with an OEM cartridge. If anything goes downhill, I'll update this review, but so far, I have only good things to say.

PROS: Great product for the price! No extra lines on the paper or streaky lines like some reviewers wrote. I did get the error message saying, my printer had detected non hp hardware. I only got this message once and it went away and printed everything very well, on regular paper to high quality paper. CONS: It does not print my pages about 800 per cartridge. It also does not warn you when low on ink. this can be a bummer because you can print so many pages where only half a page or a quarter of the page is printing. (I had a printing job of about 2000 pages and I went through 3 cartridges. I am sure this is not the case for regular home printing. But handy information for anyone in an office or home office. Which the world has a lot more of, now) TIP: -For extra lines on paper: If you have any lines printing on your paper. It may have nothing to do with this ink. You have to clean your scanning area. Please google how-to do this. -For the error message of non-hp hardware: (See my third picture for reference.) If you are having issues with the error message. I think replacing this chip with an HP one will help that go away. I lack the proper tools to do so. If you try this and it works, let me know. Best, Dee

My client really likes the product.

I bought this in 2021 and now (in 2024) I need to buy more. It lasted for 3 years. This is the best ink for the price. I highly recommend it!
