I ordered the electric water gun for a 5-year-old boy. Upon opening the box, I was impressed with the blue-aqua color of the electric water gun. I was in the military, so I like gun toys. The water gun was well-constructed plastic because I did not notice any plastic debris. The electric water gun requires 4 AA batteries. It’s not a deal breaker because it was in the description. When I told him that I got him an electric water gun, his eyes lit up with excitement.I filled the water tank, and I tried the water gun. The electric water gun has the features of a replica gun. The water tank can be taken out to refill the water. It has a locking mechanism for safety. The water gun also has a burst or automatic mode. I first had to prime the water gun by holding the trigger finger for 15 seconds. I gave the water gun to the boy in the yard. He was running around and playing with the water gun. It is winter season, so the water is cold. The description can be misleading because it states to play in the swimming pool but not soak the water gun in the water. It is electric, so I know not to soak any electric item in the water, or it will damage the motor. Overall, the electric water gun is good, and the item description was fairly accurate.

So, they list it as "for Swimming Pool Party Games". Ah, not so much unless you are into single use toys. Further down in the description it states "Please don't put the gun in water, or it will be broken." Okay, our bad, missed that, but advertising was a bit deceptive.Got two of them. One of them took an incredible amount of time to "prime". Almost went in box for return, but after 10 minutes, we got it to work.Worked okay after that for the few hours the kids used them. Unfortunately nobody noticed the kids left them in the pool. Sank to bottom, and overnight we got two softball sized rust stains in the bottom of the pool where the squirt guns came to rest. These stains are not brushing out, and will require more serious cleaning.Opened up battery compartments to see if we could get them working, and everything was rusted horribly. In the trash they went.Fun for the kids while they lasted, but certainly not for use in the pool.
