This review is for Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds En Rouge. I strongly dislike the original White Diamonds. En Rouge is a COMPLETELY different perfume which thankfully for me does not resemble White Diamonds in the slightest. Elizabeth Taylor’s line of White Diamonds scents contains many “flankers,” like the heavenly Diamonds and Rubies, Sparkling White Diamonds, White Diamonds Lustre, etc. It’s just the way they chose to structure and name the line. En Rouge is a perfume with a strong raspberry note. It’s an absolutely beautiful perfume, masterfully blended, which has strength, nearly indecent longevity, and sillage that hands down beats most current perfumes, including the niche perfumes that cost in the hundreds of dollars. It’s simply amazing. The perfume it most resembles to me is the original Givenchy Hot Couture, which I loved but has been reformulated and is a shadow of its former self. White Diamonds En Rouge is stunning, elegant, and refined. I have ordered a backup bottle while it’s still an incredible bargain. Like the beautiful Elizabeth Taylor Black Pearls, I fully expect the price of En Rouge to increase to be more in line with the quality of it. I plan to drench myself in it. Mad love.

This is my second purchase I love the smell

A complex and very well blended perfume that is like a high end niche fragrance at an unbelievable bargain price. Weather greatly affects which notes are more prominent on any given day, all of them just lovely. I especially love Diamonds and Rubies on cool, wet days - the rose really comes forward, like a big bouquet of fresh cut red roses. There are soft spices as well, which make this a beautiful winter/Christmas scent. I’m finding that it really blooms in warm/hot weather, too - warmth really brings out the spiciness and the deeper notes. The longevity for me is at least 8-10 hours, which beats many of the very expensive perfumes you would think would have great longevity and don’t. Diamonds and Rubies does not fill a room or trail for yards. It envelopes the wearer and gently permeates the air, rather than announcing itself. It is elegant, rich, soft, and really gorgeous. It is one that I reach for frequently. I absolutely love it.

It is a scent for older women. It does not smell bad, but it isn't something I would wear regularly. Maybe I would wear it to church. Gifted it to my grandmother, and she liked it.

I received a trial bottle of this perfume as a gift. I love the scent, I've had a lot of people tell me that it smells telly good on me. I was so upset cuz I couldn't find it in any of the stores, so I am elated that I found it on Amazon!!

Absolutely love diamonds an rubies,also saphires, and emeralds. Their fragrance is warm, beautiful, and differently extraordinary. They are all different but the same in that they are comfort fragrances.They make you like yourself more. When I wear them I feel complete even it I'm in the the house and not going out. To me they are better than any of the 100 dollar fragrances. I'm a perfume lover and have used many though the years. To quote Tina Turner they are Simply the best 😊😊😊😊

I originally used White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor but tried Diamonds & Rubies as it was on special and have found it really lovely. More intense aroma, which lasts and seems to change over time and yet still smells lovely in the evening; will definitely be buying again.

I normally buy white Diamonds, Thought I'd give Rubies a go. To the person who said it smells like the fragance Sun, Moon and Stars, yes it does. Its lovely.

I smelled the scent on one of my colleagues at work and HAD TO ASK which fragrance was because it smelled lovely. Now, the scent is quite strong and somehow sweet but not nauseating. I had a Chanel #5 which literally made me nauseous so not really into very strong and defined scents. I would say this is strong but not to the point you will feel sick after wearing it for a while. I love it so much I am planning on buying the other variants. Honestly, SO NICE and good price too!

The nose behind this fragrance is the great Sophia grosjman.It is very similar to Sun moon stars by Lagerfeld in my opinion - also by the great SG!For £10 for 100mls this was a blind buy and I was not disappointedBeautiful and classy.This is more accurately described as a floral oriental

Reviewing perfume is difficult, it’s all about personal choice, what’s suitable and fine for one is no good for someone else. I was attracted to this because of the cost and the rrp. Well let me tell you, it’s the price or there abouts in most places. The bottle does look good, and tbh that’s what your paying for. I found that the scent did not hold for too long. Held for a few hours on clothes, but disappeared on my skin with a couple of hours. But then it’s a cheap, cheerful perfume.
