IM Fountain Pen, Premium Black, Medium Nib with Blue Ink Refill (1931653)

As a novelist my ideas flow into written words in longhand writing on lined paper. I recently switched from pencils to fountain pens and this Parker IM is marvelous. I ordered the trio kit of black and blue refills and the conversion pump. Today I slipped in a refill, screwed on the barrel, and smooth, even letters flowed as the nib touched the paper. Some reviewers have knocked the quality being made in China, so just try and find a pen made in 1960. For me the quality of this pen rivals higher priced models, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. This is a fountain pen I will treasure for a very long time.

This pen has nice heft and balance, smooth writing nib with good ink feed and is rich in appearance. Parker makes an excellent fountain pen and this one is a winner.

The Espresso Color here should be like my first purchase kind of brown metallic. This second purchase was more of a charcoal gray than brown, as advertised. A Converter to use the ink quill should be already included. Even Chinese brands include one. OTHER THAN THAT is a good pen for a beginner or a graduation gift. I would still buy and recommend. PLEASE PARKER: INCLUDE CONVERTER and be more enthusiastic about colors. Beautiful pen.

Great pen! Aesthetically it is nice. Classic looking without being gawdy. Flow is important to me and this pen did not let me down. It writes smoothly without being scratchy. The medium nib line is not too thick. It feels substantial in the hand without being too heavy.

It's a nice weight but the Pilot Varsity Fountain Pens are disposable and write 100% better. The tipping material isn't doing the brand justice.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Elégant et léger. D'une prise en main agréable. La plume est suffisamment large et glisse bien. Rien à dire de négatif.

Ho sempre amato le penne in generale e le stilografiche in particolare. Ho cominciato quindi a comprare le Pelikan Jazz, sia biro che stilo. Esteticamente gran belle penne, ma il metallo con il tempo scoloriva e la scorrevolezza di entrambe non era il massimo. Ho poi deciso di comprare un set di penne Parker e la musica è cambiata totalmente. Scorrevolezza a livelli incredibili, sia per la biro che per la stilo, anzi, ho cominciato con stilo da pochi euro e qui la sorpresa. Che compriate un modello da centinaia di euro o un modello da pochi euro, le Parker stilo avranno una scorrevolezza e una qualità di inchiostro imbattibili rapporto qualità prezzo. Per questa penna, presa in offerta a poco più di 34 € poi, definirmi soddisfatto è poco. Esteticamente bellissima con il suo deign bombato e le sue finiture color oro, il pennino fino, esalta la scrittura e la qualità dell'inchiostro fa il resto. In più rispetto a Pelikan - che nell'ultimo anno ha praticamente raddoppiato il prezzo delle sue penne -, il prezzo delle Parker è stabile e non fa scherzi nel caso poniate la penna nella lista dei desideri per poterla acquistare non appena ne abbiate l'esigenza. A questo si aggiunga la garanzia di due anni che Parker da sul pennino, cosa che nessun rivenditore fa. Consigliatissima. PS: suggerisco a Parker di mettere anche una ricarica nera oltre che l'ottimo colore blu, come accade per altri modelli. Ps2: Se potete, acquistatela come venduta e spedita da Amazon; oggetti così piccoli, sono spesso soggetti a furti (come accaduto a me), ma grazie all'ottimo servizio ai clienti di Amazon, non avrete alcun problema di sorta.

Es una pluma increíble. Lo cierto es que no tengo mucha experiencia en el ámbito de las plumas. Pero ya he probado una anteriormente más barata, y se nota la diferencia. Sea para regalo, o como homenaje a uno mismo para darse un capricho, está pluma vale cada céntimo que cuesta.

This is a nice fountain pen. It has a good quality feel about it.
