Q: It says open compatibility, mac & pc, but does this card work on linux?

While it's compatible on Windows and Mac, keep in mind that using it on Mac, you will not be able to use CAM, as that is Windows only. Officially, it doesn't support Linux but it should work fine.

Q: does it support ultrawide monitors?

This does not support Ultra Wide Monitors. The website (https://nzxt.com/product/signal-4k30) states the resolution for throughput and output under "Tech Specs".

Q: Will this device let you capture content off the PS2 and OG Xbox?!

An adapter cable would be needed to connect the Signal via HDMI cable, but it would be possible.
