I bought this item the other day as my picture frame screen had broken. I decided to go a different route and use a frame that was more suitable and didn't have glass as a protective cover. This frame was the right size for the photo I have. It's a picture of someone that's very well known. I don't know if I can post their photo here. I'll error on the side of caution by not posting a photo. It's easy to put together. The protective screen has a thin see-through film on both sides. You have to remove both before putting your photo inside the frame. After you put the back cover on, and lock the hooks, you're done; you're good to go. What you see in the photo shown above on this page is how the frame actually looks. I don't plan to hang up this photo. It will simply lean against the wall on a table. Using the frame this way, I can say, it meets my needs. It's perfect!

It is a sturdy frame for the money, the hanging hardware was a bust. I attempted to use it and the biting pegs on the back of the hanger bent, just from plaster. I fixed the bent pins and it wouldn't even hold the weight of the frame.If you own your own hanging hardware it is an attractive frame for a good price.

I bought another different brand frame at the same time, this one is much smaller, looks cheaper, not sturdy, plastic cover compare with the real glass cover, and yet the price only a little bit cheaper! The worst is the package was arrived with the light soft package and the edge of the frame was chipped so I have to request return/replacement since the special size and I didn’t need it immediately. The good thing is the process was smooth and I got a good one.

Plastic front was scratched on arrival, and scratches easily (edge of photo scratched it when mounting). the wood inside is unfinished and not sanded, so sawdust falls out constantly and gets trapped between the plastic and the picture. dimensions were a little off, and made it take some modification to get a 12"x18" inside of the frame. Overall, not worth it.

I got this to hold a poster in my office and I'm really impressed. I figured it might not be good quality due to the cheap price, but it is really great!!!! I am very happy with this purchase!
