This support board worked very well on my old couch. It’s still in good shape cosmetically, but it’s a sleeper sofa and the cushions had started sagging toward the back and became uncomfortable to sit on. This support board solved the problem! Most people are trying to preserve an old sofa. In our case we're trying to recover from purchasing a brand new sectional (30 days no return). It's hollow and has no support under the cushion. It’s a great product. It works really well. I bought one for my couch & love seat makes a big difference no more sagging cushions.The packaging did have a strong smell. I had to put mine outside on the patio for a few days.
