This is by far the first chopper that I found that can chop a sweet potato! It also has different settings of thickness where other brands you do not get the option to create a thicker cut! The chopper is very easy to put together and it’s very quick and easy to use and best of all it’s extremely affordable! This is one product I will not ever be returning, but I definitely will be telling a lot of people about it! I’m very excited to be able to chop things in a quick safe manner without cutting my hands up! On a scale of one to 10 a total 10!!!!!

I just got the ONCE FOR ALL Upgrade Safe Mandoline Slicer and I am honestly impressed. I bought this specifically to slice sweet potatoes (which are usually a pain), and this thing makes it SO easy. The biggest selling point for me was safety—and it definitely delivers. The blade is enclosed, so you don’t feel like you’re risking your fingers every time you use it. It feels really sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some kitchen gadgets. Assembly was quick and simple, and I had it ready to go in minutes. Once I started using it, the slices were consistent and smooth with hardly any effort. If you’ve ever struggled with cutting tougher vegetables like sweet potatoes, this is a game changer. Safe, easy, and actually works like it’s supposed to. Highly recommend!

It works quite well. I have very limited hand & wrist strength, tremors/spasms, but am able to use this on cucumbers & zuchini so far. It does take a bit of effort, but I've been able to use my forearms & elbows which has been a bit easier. I have serious hand & wrist issues, so finding anything at all that can help means a lot. It's definitely much easier & safer than using real knives. I don't think I'd be able to use it on anything too hard, like a carrot, but I think most people would be able to use it for pretty much any vegetable. The only reason I took a star off is because it's a bit difficult to clean. You have to be very careful you don't miss any tiny pieces of food that can hide in the crevices. It might be easier in the dishwasher, but I'm handwashing, so that's just my experience so far. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

It not only looks good, it works good. Made out of sturdy material. Slices and dices well . Follow directions with care. Easy to use and clean. Fruits and vegetables come out looking cool.

I am really impressed with this mandoline slicer! Years ago I had a mandoline slicer and finally gave it away because on the old one, I'd cut my fingers on the super-sharp blade numerous times. The blade(s) on this one are equally as sharp but it is well designed to prevent sliced fingers. If you really tried hard, you could cut yourself, but if you follow the precautions in the instruction booklet, you will keep your skin intact. Anyway, when I deboxed it, I sat down to read the booklet. It seemed kind of complicated at first, but actually isn't. The next day, when I used it, I remembered what I had read and along with using common sense about how things work, I successfully ran its slicing function without having to consult the book again (onions for Indian food). Features I like the best: 1. The food chute is generously sized (I cut a medium-sized onion in quarters and the chute is large enough that I got 2 of the quarters in the chute at once). 2. The plunger that works the slicing runs smoothly and has a substantial feel. 3. The rubber/silicone strip on the base of the unit eliminates slipping. 4. The food catcher caught virtually all of the onions and hot peppers that I sliced. 5. You don't have to change blades to use the julienne or chopping functions; via flipping a little switch, little triangular blades pop up to change the shape of the slices ( I haven't yet used the julienne or chopping functions yet, but if I have trouble with those I will update my review) - this is a terrific safety feature. This is a very good product!

It’s difficult to use and the suction cups don’t stay so it’s unstable. I personally don’t like it but my husband does the mandolin thing for me. It works great and the blades are sharp, it’s not described as seller says

First let me say that I rarely write a review, good or bad, I just don't do it. This Mandoline is so wonderful I just had to let everyone know! I ordered it because I'd used a grader to slice potatoes and, as always, sliced my finger. That angered me so I went looking for a mandoline. After seeing how simple this one was to work I decided to buy it to see if it was as good as the reviews said. This is better than any of the reviews said. I just sliced 5 cups of apples in no time and my hand didn't come close to the blade. Just for the heck of it I turned the dials and yep, it did everything advertised. It's worth far more that the actual cost! Cleaning it is simple as it comes apart easily and because it folds up I was able to store it in a drawer. This would make a great gift and in fact, I'm planning on buying another one for my daughter.

Enfin, un outil qui me permet de faire mes frites de patates douces sans me luxer l'épaule ou le poignet ! Je n'ai pas trop l'habitude de faire l'éloge d'un article et je trouve en général toujours quelque chose à redire. Mais dans ce cas, non. Ça fait plus d'un an que je cherche un outil pour mes patates douces et pomme de terre et je l'ai enfin en trouvé. Jusqu'à présent j'avais acquis des outils qui faisaient les frites en une seule passe au travers une grille (c'est pratique), mais soit les lames finissaient par casser à cause de la pression nécessaire, soit je n'avais pas assez de force pour couper. Finalement, j'ai opté pour une découpe en plusieurs passes et j'aurais dû y penser plus tôt ! L'installation est rapide, les réglages très simples et le résultat de qualité même si pour une tubercule de taille moyenne il faut trancher 10 fois au lieu d'une seule avec une grille. Du coup la force à exercer est évidemment dix fois moins importante ce qui permet à n'importe qui d'y arriver. Noter la présence d'un réservoir pour réceptionner les coupes. Cerise sur le gâteau on peut aussi faire des rondelles et des dés, et tout cela de différentes tailles ce qui est impossible avec une grille. Je vois déjà plein de nouvelles recettes à venir... L'ensemble est parfaitement sécurisé, il respire la solidité, la documentation est en français, le nettoyage est pratique avec la petite balayette et l’encombrement pour le rangement réduit. Bref, je recommande vivement cet achat.

j'ai acheté la plus chère car je ne voulais pas changer les lames manuellement. il y a une molette à tourner pour choisir l'épaisseur des rondelles de pommes de terres(efficace). et 2 autres boutons à tourner pour les juliennes et autres coupes. le système de poussoir est assisté donc facile à actionner, pas besoin de force. très bien conçu , agréablement surprise;
