My golden pothos was struggling. It was once full and beautiful but started to wilt and die off. I decided it was time to replant with fresh soil and I wanted to give it the best chance at survival so I looked for a mixture of soil specifically for pothos. Thought maybe this was my last resort, I took the chance. I repotted and watered and left it alone for a week and when I came back home, I could not believe how it had come back to life! I have plenty of soil left over from the bag to repot later on or even another plant if needed. I took before and after pictures to show the difference. My little pothos is thriiiiiving 😌

My apartment has low light and pothos plants are the only ones that seem to tolerate it, so I have several in every room. I have added a little regular potting mix to each plant every year, but a few of them have been looking a bit leggy and thin. I replaced half the dirt in each one with this mix and a week later every plant looks noticeably healthier. I have new shoots everywhere!

If you look at the ingredients of the soil it's really nothing special and you can get similar bigger bags for less at the hardware store. I bought this for a gift oddly enough so the nice packaging was helpful and I didn't have to go to the store, but is cost me 40$ and I could have gotten double for 20$ so it works the same for double

I want to like it, but the gnat situation is crazy. Maybe it's a one off, i don't know, but I opened the bag and gnats flew outUpdate: it's a month later and the only plants that have gnats are the ones near the plant with this soil. I only bottom water purposely to avoid gnats. I've never had gnats until i used this soil. I tried those sticky traps and it didn't help. I had to purchase Captain Jack's insect killer. Hopefully that helps. The plant is doing well otherwise, but this has really turned into an issue.Update #2: soil had to be dumped. Swarmed with gnats. Mosquito bits, neem oil, and stickies didn't help.

I have repotted my Pothos and I’m very happy with how they are responding. The soil was light and fresh feeling. It absorbs the water very well and not leaving the soil feeling muddy. Will be purchasing more for the rest of my babies. Thank you
