Durability
Product arrived on time. The tire appears to be brand new and was zipp tied inside the box so it was never used prior to my purchase. Installation and mounting was extremely easy. I usually ride Conti 5000 TL. However they are now super expensive and hard to find during the C-19 pandemic - also difficult to mount. These were 90-95% easier to mount and inflated with tremendous ease. I was in disbelief at just how easily these tires inflated and popped into place after a minimal effort to pump up to around 80 psi.The ride (20 miles) was smooth and comfortable. I inflated them on my rear tire. I’m 260 lbs at the time of this review. The tire was smooth, forgiving, and comfortable. Felt like I could have done an easy 40 miler that day!The temperature was 42 degrees Fahrenheit. The roadside was slick from rainy weather. Didn’t experience any slips when cornering or stopping.Price was excellent! Can’t say enough about value for money. ROI is a no brainer. I gone through enough dry rotted tires during the pandemic to know that this is worth it’s weight in gold. Forget about wasting your money on the other popular brands. This tire is a much welcome product for today’s TL marketplace.I’ll update after 100, 500, and 1000 miles etc!

Impressive value
About 2 weeks and 150 miles or so in with these tires and have been impressed. They are a little narrow compared to tube type 32mm Gatorskins. Mounting them was a challenge by hand but easy with a bead jack on a set of new Ksyrium 30s. Got the bead to seat with a full sized hand pump and they held air with without sealant for a couple of hours. They’re super solid with 50mL of Stan’s, only dropping from 60 to 45 psi overnight in the garage. Keeping my fingers crossed about puncture resistance and wear, but off to a good start. At half the price of most other road tubeless tires, feeling pretty good about then.

Just say NO
I used to run American Classic wheels before the company folded. Loved those wheels. Was excited to hear about reasonably priced tires from American Classic and wanted to love them. So disappointed.Pros:Beads seated easily once on the rimsInexpensiveCons:These tires are HEAVY (but they're cheap, so understandable)The tires are STIFF (like Spesh Armadillo stiff)One tire had a small hole in the SIDEWALL straight out of the boxWAY small - even mounted on wide rims these "32" tires are slightly less than 28mm wideI could have dealt with all of the other cons, but the width made these a no go. If you're looking for cheap 28's, and have rims that are no more than 21mm INTERNAL, then these may work for you. I have no idea how they ride as I promptly removed and returned them. I would GUESS, based upon the weight, stiffness, and being tubeless that they would be durable. But that's only a guess. For the price, I might be willing to give some of their larger gravel tires a try, bearing in mind that they will be smaller than the stated width.

Tight fit and slightly smaller width sidewise
Installed on DT Swiss R470db rims with internal rim width 20mm. Tire Size 700 x 28mm.Installed on the rim using the Kool Stop Tire Bead Jack. It's tight.Tire sat in the center of the rim and was a very tight fit. Could not really move it away from the center of the rims to the edges using my hands and so was skeptical it would seat.Ran a little soapy water in the rim before proceeding to inflate the rim with an air compressor. Valve core removed. Quickly inflated and popped on the rim edges but once the air was release moved back to the center. Moved to a trial inflation with the hand floor pump (valve core installed again) and it seated before filling with sealant and inflating for the final time.Seemed to seal up pretty well.Tires as measured seemed to be a little smaller than the existing 28mm Specialized tires that came stock on the bike. I'd be tempted to put this 28mm on the front and get a 32mm for the back except it will be a lot of work to get the tire swapped. Will see how it rides and if I notice any lack of tire volume compared to my original 28mm tires for comfort.I can't imagine being able to remove this tire on the road if needed, nor fit an inner tube because of the really tight fit. By comparison I could easily add an inner tube to the 32mm 2Bliss Specialized tire that punctured and would not seal whilst on the road that this tire replaced. Will see how this tire performs.

Is this the best tubeless tire I've ever bought?
As of this writing, yes, yes it is. After close to 500 miles, I have found zero faults with this tire. But first, let's start with what really hooked me on these tires. I've tried at least a half dozen different brands of tubeless tires over the past 5 years. They all had one common trait--they were close to impossible to get them to seat in the rim. Even using a small household compressor I ended up going to the local bike shop so they could use their high pressure compressor to get them properly seated (and not always easily).Enter the Torchbearer. I knew nothing of this brand. The price looked nice so I figured I'd give it a try. The look and feel of this tire is on par or surpasses every other tire I've had. There is a definite feel of quality and finish. Some have commented that these tires are hard to get on the rim. Welcome to tubeless tires. I found them no more difficult than ant of the others. After getting the tire on the rim and not wanting to go through the hassle of getting the compressor set up, I figured I'd give myself a laugh and try to seat it with a regular hand pump. And. It. Worked! If that is repeatable there would be no reason to ever buy another tire brand. Factoring in the outstanding performance thus far, there really is no reason to buy another brand!
