Q: What makes this pan "Induction ready?" It says it has an aluminim core, but shouldn't it have iron in it for an induction stove?

It works on an induction cooktop. The stainless provides for the inductive cooking. I use mine almost daily. It’s a great little pan. I have several pans sold by Oxo and really like all of them.
