Having the key done at a locksmith while doing the programming myself.Programming is very easy with remotesremotes.com instructions with the key.

Replacement key was just like original. Had key cut at Lexus dealer for 49 dollars. Programmed using YouTube videos. Key can unlock and lock car, as well as start. Nice replacement.

My wonderful mechanic was able 2 reprogram this key for my Lexus in about 10 seconds. He just used his iPad and somehow programmed it very easy. the Lexus dealer is going to charge me about 600 bucks and my mechanic did not charge me a dime. We didn't have enough of the old key laugh so we could have just got a case for it which I later found out but I still saved a fortune.

I bought a 2002 Lexus RX300 and it only came with one key fob. I bought this on Amazon and took it to a local locksmith to cut and program. Total cost was about $160 v. the $400 the dealer would have charged for a new one.

Transponder was able to program but remote control was not. I had to return it.
