I actually came across this pop-up book by accident while browsing for cutely decorated plates! The thematic sketches caught my eye, and as I looked into it more, I discovered this delightful book — and I’m so glad I did. I bought it mostly for the illustrations, and they are absolutely adorable. Each pop-up scene is packed with detail and movement — there's so much going on in the tiny, intricate pieces. It's a real feast for the eyes, and the craftsmanship is impressive. The storyline itself is simple and sweet, perfect for very young children, but honestly, as an adult, it’s the artwork that truly captivates. It also arrived quickly and was very well packaged — no damage to any of the delicate pop-up elements. If you love whimsical illustration and creative paper art, this is a beautiful little gem to own — even if you didn’t mean to buy a book in the first place!
