Works wired! + wireless with iOS 16, Switch! PS Remote Play, very lightweight. AKA ShanWan BSP-D3
This is a decent quality, lightweight controller grip that works with the latest iOS 16 and iPadOS, tvOS, macOS etc. Turn it on with B + Power and it shows up as a PS4 Dualshock Controller for easy Apple device connection. It works with the latest iOS 16 and should work as far back as iOS 13 when they first added PS4 controller support. The power button doubles as the PS button. It feels very lightweight at 140g, two Switch joy-cons are 100g for comparison. The controller plus my iPhone 12 mini weigh 292g, a Switch is 403g. Controller plus iPad Mini 6 are 430g. The best part is it also works with iPadOS 16 as a WIRED USB-C controller! I plugged it in to my iPad Mini 6 with a USB-C cable and it works as a wired PS4 controller. I disabled bluetooth on the iPad to confirm that it was indeed working over USB. To connect it as a wired PS4 controller, first turn on the controller in PS4 mode with B+Power, then plug in the USB cable. It also works wired on iPhone the same way a wired PS4 controller would. Plug the controller into a powered USB hub (if you don't have a powered Lightning adapter) then plug the hub into a Lightning - USB camera connection kit adapter. Tested on iPhone 12 mini. Also, it works on Nintendo Switch! Tested on Switch firmware 15.0.1 with standard Switch. With the controller turned off and the Switch turned on and docked, connect the controller to the dock with a USB-A to USB-C cable. The controller defaults to Switch mode when powering on. It shows up as a Switch Pro controller, if you have USB Pro Controller support enabled on the Switch. And then you can disconnect the USB, and the controller will stay connected over bluetooth. The only thing is the ABXY buttons are in Xbox layout, not Switch layout, so you just have to make a custom button mapping on the Switch, easily done. It does open wide enough to fit a Switch inside, it could work in a pinch but it's not held very solidly, it's more handy as an extra Switch controller if needed for a friend. It does work with the iPhone 12/13 Mini, also OK for iPhone 5/SE 1 size, supports a device that small, case or no case, although aesthetically not ideal as it's taller than those mini phones. It does not open wide enough to fit an iPad Mini 6 or older. Physically it's not the ideal candidate for hacking to fit iPad Mini but electronically it's great, fully compatible with iOS and even supporting wired connection. To stretch it out wider you'll definitely need a longer data cable and probably a longer spring. The data cable is part number 538-15166-0182 at Mouser Electronics, plenty in stock, I can confirm it works. The spring is a very thin strip of metal wound into a tight coil, which can become detached if the controller is pulled too wide, and also I managed to put all kinds of bends in my spring while opening everything up, so now it doesn't recoil properly. The spring is not mandatory for it to work, but it obviously keeps the controllers clamped against the device in between. Could be replaced with a longer coil spring of the same type, or rubber bands etc, you'd have to get creative. For iPad Mini use maybe could combine controller with a magnetic case for a more fixed mount setup. Also it's pretty easy to open up, just standard Phillips head screws and prying the shell open with a plastic pick or old credit card. As far as the quality of the buttons, sticks etc I'm no connoisseur, it doesn't feel quite as nice as Sony or Nintendo controller but it does the job. Only used a little bit so far and no big problems. Shoulder buttons are simple push buttons nothing fancy. Back buttons have no effect if you don't program them, and I haven't tried to program them yet. The generic box and controller are labeled as model BSP-D3, which Google says is a design that's been around for a bit, I'm guessing this particular one has pretty new firmware. Nothing says "Megadream" on it, typical budget Chinese product sold under many names. I got the grey version with Zelda-like graphics and it's close to PS1 or SNES grey, a little darker.

Waste of money
Bought this because of the price but the left joystick doesn't work. Waste of money

It was inexpensive and it works
Gotta start with, this thing is 26 dollars. Turned on first try( after charging it). Paired,( on like the 3rd try). But now it's 3,4 seconds. Using a z flip3, with the case. It's got a tiny bit more room top to bottom. Side ways no issue. It's Bluetooth, I haven't noticed lag playing asphalt...if I wanted to pick at it of course you can find stuff. But, important thing here is, it's 26 dollars and it works....( Has for me, can't speak for anyone else). I'm glad I got it... Exceeded my expectations, by quite a bit. Perfect? No.... Very good? Yes....

App is horrible, but works natively with some programs.
I’ve adjusted my rating based on the fact that I was able to get the device to function natively with several programs. The app is still horrific. The app is LUDU MAPP (on iOS), and it is garbage. It has web 401 errors and is really just to set up advertisements. For the inability to locate the app without using the QR code (had to screen shot it and then scan the image to even use it) I purchased the controller without checking to see what games it supported, but figured it should work for other games if not. But nope. The required app doesn’t even recognize the controller, but I doubt it ever worked. It also hasn’t been updated in at least a year, and that was to fix some bug that must have been worse than all of the other bugs that lead to blank websites etc. If a piece of hardware is going to make itself dependent on a third party app to function, they better make sure that app works.

Perfect but one complaint
Love it there's no lag it's fits my phone perfect it's doesn't hurt ur hands or make them cramp in long gaming sessions literally easiest thing to get setup just turn turn it on and connect it's build quality seems a bit cheap but it's better then it looks I stepped on it earlier and it didn't break so durable only complaint is I wish I could charge my phone while it's in the controller it would make it 1000x better but still I'd recommend

Not bad for a starter mobile controller
So overall it's not a bad accessory. All the buttons seem to work fine the lights on it are cool, the initial setup depends on your device it seems like, it has 2 different Bluetooth modes which is weird but if your device doesn't pick up the 1 then switch to the other and it wil probably show up. Purchased for my daughter so she uses it on her wifi phone and her pc. each one would only show one and not the other BT signal. All in all its not bad the only real negative thing I have to say about it is the battery life is on the lower side. initial testing seemed to last 2-3 hours and there doesn't seem to be any real indication of battery level. I wouldn't get this is you or your child have heavy hands.

Emulator Compatible.
Works with Emulators! You have to use the alternative method of hooking it up though. Wich is holding left on the top left buttons (aka small "X") then power. It seems to have a different bluetooth signature than just turning it on normally. It then flashes number 2. After I did this it showed up properly for settings. Quality was fine and buttons felt good. I am considering buying another.

Not a good option
This might work well for some people but I got it one day and returned it the next. I charged it up, paired it to bluetooth and two buttons worked on it sporadically. Would not work with any game that was advertised it would work with.

Amazing
Works better than expected other reviews scare me that it was gonna be bad but works great for how cheap it is hope this review helps. I could not afford the 100$ Also don’t expect it to feel like a switch controller. I accidentally overpowered it with pure dc from a solarpanel with 82watts it did not explode it just made bad smell five stars did not explode when supposed to just broke very safe

Amazing for the price
I had a Razor Kishi before this. It is a better controller as the triggers are not just buttons like this one. This controller, however, is just as useable. I will only purchase this from now on. There is no delay in the Bluetooth. I use it on a Samsung galaxy s10 and only for Fortnite. Most people who are having issue with this are not connecting Bluetooth properly. Hold down the right bumper while pressing down the power button to connect.
