When I was buying this for the new Icom ID 52A, I only found one review, and it was not so good, but I could not find too many options out there, so I took a chance on it.The bad review that I found was someone saying it did not fit the ID-52A, so I wanted to leave this review along with a photo showing the way it fits. (Hopefully you’ll be able to see the outlines)Does it fit the screen perfectly? No, but it fits the screen well enough. Maybe in more time when this radio has been out for longer, there will be screen protectors out that are made to fit the ID 52A perfectly, but for now this is pretty good. It covers the portion of the screen that I do not want to get scratched.Worth noting, it’s not like the glass covers that we put on our phones. It is a flexible piece of soft plastic, but I get the impression it will do a good job protecting the screen, and it has for the week I’ve had it on.Whatever you do, if you buy the ID 52A get something to protect the screen because it will scratch extremely easy.

The screen protector seems to be made as well as all others, and arrived very fast, but it DOES NOT fit the exact dimensions of the ID-52A display as the description says it does. Amazons descriptions have become very poorly written over the years and need cleaning up big time. Who researches these things and verifies them?

This screen protector is a perfect fit for the Icom ID-52A handheld radio. It’s an exact fit for the screen on the radio. I usually don’t have patience for things like this, but the directions are simple to follow and I got great results. I’m very happy with this purchase.

The product applies just fine. Nothing will fit the ID52’s screen perfectly due to the curvature of the display, so a small portion at the top of the display is unprotected. My issue is that the anti-glare screen protector greatly decreases the quality of the image on the display. It’s like trying to read through fogged up glasses.

The screen on the Icom ID-52A is slightly curved at the edges. This semi-rigid protector does not cover the screen fully to try and mitigate this issue. Unfortunately, I was unable to position the protector so it could lay entirely flat. At least one edge would not touch the screen. Pressure and hair dryer heat did not help. The quality was good and seller upheld their responsibility but the product has a fatal flaw.

It looked like a good screen protector but did not fit the Icom ID-52A. Was about 1/8" short on each side if you tried to center it an about 3/8" short at the top if you placed it snug at the bottom. They did say in the paper that came in the package that they will make one that fits if it doesn't work. Sorry, I don't have time for trial and error product design.

It’s basically a rough cut piece of plastic film cut in a rectangular shape and does not cover the screen.
