I got this because I did not want to spend $200 on the Phillips sunrise clock. I am glad I did. This has a smooth transition from deep red to the bright yellow of a "natural" sunrise. The app works very well. Give it a try before spending more on something else, you won't regret it.

Set up was pretty easy and the colors are interesting. The odd shape and the fact that two of the buttons are pressure sensitive and not push-down buttons (located in front of the push down buttons- so you keep accidentally brushing/hitting them trying to reach the others) make it difficult to just reach over one-handed and select any buttons out of habit/feel like you tend to do with a bedside clock/light/alarm.However the app really makes up for that because you can control pretty much everything from your phone once you have it set up, which was what I wanted to start with.The bluetooth speaker is great, I've been using it with my phone for amazon music and audible. It doesn't get super loud (if that's your thing) but it's a good clear sound and perfect for my use.

Alarm clock is a great concept. However constantly drops internet connection and when this happens the alarm doesn’t turn on!! An untrustworthy product from a mediocre company. Find something else to buy

Very pleased with the clock once I figured out how to add my Alexa to the device. The instructions could have been clearer on which app to use to add Alexa. Once I tried the 2nd app with a similar name it was easy to connect. Also, I had to read over and over how to dim the clock light at night. The description seemed to be for the colors on the lamp, but it was to control light around clock. I am very happy with it. So far so good.

This product is more than what I expected it to be. Found myself using it daily to wake me up from its alarm, light to radio feature. As well as going to sleep, the white sounds are great. Happy with my purchase all the rest of the features are bonus.

I used this to replace a Philips HF3520. Let me tell you this thing is light as a feather. The app is nice but there is no way to easily snooze the device. Confusing button placements and if you turn off the Alarm in the app on your phone it turns off the light as well... there is no way to snooze from the App. Really stupid design. I'll keep this one as a backup still.Also the light is no where as bright as the Philips sleep light even on the brightest setting. The philips will light the entire room up and the EDUP looks like a marginally brighter nightlight.It's a shame because if they tweaked the light and buttons better to be more tactile you'd have a winner.Save your money trying to go cheap folks and just get a Philips sunrise alarm clock. Buy once cry once.

This is so fun & effective! The colors are beautiful! The brightness is perfect. It’s easy to read & the bird/thunder sounds are realistic. I’m so glad I got this-better than I expected.

Reviewing a tech worthy item from a non-tech savvy person… if somebody’s in my shoes trying to find the right gift item- I’ll share 411 from that point of you!Definitely a perk that you can control with an app and your Alexa… Helping my daughter set up in her dorm- The buttons are quirky with this and plenty of them! Some are pressure sensitive.. (I find some white on white hard to read! But my eye sight is also part of prob!!) Really? How about alarm on + off is located on back?!! Ouch- mine found it best to control with phone vs. fumble out of sleep to find the other.. she was afraid of knocking it off the dresser!! The sunrise is awesome- seriously it’s just wild.. especially when in sync with sun outside. Imagine we used to have tiny hammer hit a bell by agitating it for an alarm- not sure how we ever survived..?!!Speaker is crystal clear.. using with Bluetooth and nature sounds- it was impressive. Felt like we were at the beach.. (btw- waves, thunderstorm are total fav. these are on a loop.. of course! But, cant detect with either of these- feels natural!!) However, this isn’t party speaker loud- after all, it’s an alarm clock! Need I say more..?! We had a hard time getting FM stations we could easily get in the car- it would only “stop/seek” on two! Otherwise it ran thru stations as if there were none.. not a big deal. But X92 in So. Cali. is a staple to at least try for!Inverted doughnut shape is so oddly cool- designer has tried to make Display more visible.. only it’s bending into the doughnut! So, if not “above looking down” the display can be tricky to see if laying in bed. You can however.. ask Alexa what time it is- she is such a good girl to let you know!!! The amount of crazy colors could side track you for days.. personally, almost too many options- but, they’re there!Set up on app took x3 tries..? Not sure why.. kept having to cancel/delete and try again- so, if this happens don’t give up.. we found third times the charm! Possibly bc of dorm building/multi device interference? I’m not certain..The fact one can charge cell device is perfect- (usb outlet on back!) keeps phone close to use and user from phone withdrawals! Plus, app control is right close and eliminates need for another outlet..Overall, this offers far more than just an alarm clock.. Great for those who understand tech. maybe not best for those who don’t! Great graduation gift or for any heading into world of Adulting.. hoping info can help your decision- stay safe everyone.
