Q: Is this the same thickness and material used for those 3d face masks? How is it as a face mask?

The fabric content is 90% Polyester/ 10% Lycra Spandex will be hot to wear and not breathable.

Q: Can this be used to make Koozies for cans/bottles? Also can it be embroidered on? I want to embroider on it too.

Yes this can be used to make koozies. Neoprene can be embroidered on but you will need to stabilize it. People often find it is easier to make an embroidered patch to attach on to it.

Q: Does it have a gloss to it? I’m trying to find glossy neoprene.

No, there’s no gloss or sheen to it. It’s a flat medium gray.

Q: Would this fabric be suitable to make mermaid tails with? is it waterproof?

It is medium/heavyweight and features 15% four-way stretch for comfort and ease. It is perfect for costuming and cosplay, but it is not waterproof
