I have lungs that were damaged from acute asthma as a child. Moving in with 2 roommates who smoked in their upstairs bedrooms with their doors securely closed caused a change in my overall health. It was a big surprise to me. I never had such a marked change in such a small amount of time. I ran air quality (lab qualified) tests and - yes - a significant amount of 2nd-hand cigarette smoke showed up! We all followed the trail with colored smoke (like wind tunnel tests use). A surprise occurred—the upstairs intake in their short hallway gets pushed directly downstairs into the vents when the HVAC came on! I placed the air purifier on a high shelf right in front of that air intake, ran it on high for 3 days in the coldest days but with the unit’s fan turned on rather than set to “Auto” for heat. I had to change the filter within 2 weeks-oh yuk-was it nasty. But I got my health back and much cleaner air! You just can’t get a better overall feeling when living in cleaner air-it’s invigorating yes?

You essentially get 2 for the price of 1 with these filters. Installed and works with no hiccups. Will continue to buy.

I love this purifier- my daughter has two of them in the house with a newborn! It is such a relief these are so easy to put in and get out so they are kept changed!
