Unidirectional cable – works fine with my 4K monitor @ 60 Hz
The first thing to mention is that this is a unidirectional cable. It is not bidirectional. That means the input (e.g., laptop) must be USB/c or Thunderbolt, and the output (e.g., monitor) must be DisplayPort. This will not work if you plug the USB/c end into a USB/C monitor.I connected this from a Thunderbolt 4 (downgraded to 3) port in my docking station to a 4K side monitor. It is working fine at 4K, 60Hz, 8-bit color, HDR disabled. This side monitor only supports HDR via hdmi, so that is not an issue with this cable. The cable is braided, black, with silver ends, and it has good flexibility. The DisplayPort end does not have a built-in locking mechanism like some other brand DisplayPort cables often do. I prefer smaller length cables for switched connections because many switches experience signal quality issues when adding 6 foot or longer cables on either end side of the switch. I haven’t experienced any issues using this cable. The pricing (currently $18) is good, and in line with comparable products. I have no complaints, and this cable is working as expected, without any issues. Aside from physical appearance (color, braided vs non-braided, lock or no lock) these cables are all pretty much the same so I’d recommend getting the cheapest option you can find that has the specs you need (this one is 4K @ 144 Hz).

Great quality cable.
I got this cable to use with my new computer monitor and I’m really happy with it.It connected well and the picture was amazing. Both ends slotted in and out easily and the cord feels really strong, though it bend enough that it was easy to bend around the other leads and cables at the back of the monitor. After only using HDMI cables I was shocked at just how much better the picture quality was through this. Seeing as DisplayPort 1.4 can transmit up to 32.4Gbs bandwidth, and HDMI's only transmit 18Gbps it was really worth the upgrade.Overall I’m really happy with this cable and would definitely recommend it.

Works with M1 MBA, Dell XPS, 4K@60hz, 2K @144hz confirmed
This usb-c to displayport 1.4 cable worked as described for my M1 MacBook Air and Dell XPS.I was able to output 2K res video @ 1440p 144hz refresh rate to a Dell 27" QHD gaming monitor from my Dell XPS. With my M1 MacBook Air I was able to output at 4K res 60hz refresh rate to a Dell 27" UHD monitor. No issues with the cable or adapters so far but I'll update this review if they fail in the next year or so.
