Great cat tree, well made and straightforward to assemble if you arrange the parts beforehand
We have two smaller-size (10-11 lbs) cats, both about 4 years old now, and only a small (24") 2-platform cat tree we got for them when they were kittens. We wanted something larger that they could both use as a place to play and sleep, and after a LOT of research and review reading, we settled on this cat tree from FEANDREA. I had a few concerns about stability and durability based on a handful of the reviews, but they were quickly dispelled once I received the actual product.I know some reviews here commented on difficulty figuring out the assembly instructions, but I actually found them pretty straightforward. I think what helped was first going through the various sisal-wrapped pole segments and arranging them exactly as they were in the parts list of the instructions, and then doing the same with the screws so that I had all the screws of each size grouped together. Once I took the time to do that, assembly was pretty straightforward. I think my only mistake was thinking that one step required four of the screws with threads on both ends, when actually I only needed one of them and three of the longer allen-head screws. My own fault, the diagram was actually quite clear when I looked at it again.Assembling the "cave" piece, where the five small supports have to be put inside and then the screws threaded in by feel, was a bit time-consuming but not difficult as other reviewers have noted. And nowhere did I find that holes were misaligned or incompletely drilled, or that the fabric was insufficiently perforated to push a screw through. The only challenging part was for the very short screw that secures the "cave" to the second level's base, since the hole is a threaded mount and doesn't go all the way through. I just took a minute to thread the screw into that hole without the "cave" in the way, to clear out the fabric in that spot and let me feel the mounting hole; once that was done, the "cave" was secured and Bob's your uncle. The whole thing is VERY sturdy and secure. I have it placed against a wall just for ease of reaching the window above, and the security strap isn't in use. After a week of owning it and my cats climbing on it, nothing feels loose or wobbly. "The boy" was actually sleeping on the top platform earlier today (see pic); at a bit over 10 pounds, he looked quite comfortable and I could see he wasn't even close to "overflowing" the space or having to wedge himself in. Our girl prefers to curl up in the "cave". For both of them, catnip didn't entice them to try it out but putting some treats on each level for a few days did the trick!Very happy with this purchase, and even more happy that I held out for this item to become available again instead of going with the very similar model this company sells that is covered in felt rather than plush. The material on this feels fantastic, and the cats definitely enjoy it!UPDATE Feb 6, 2020 — 3 months later, this tree is rock solid and both of our cats continue to use it daily. Our girl cat loves the basket to sleep in and we find her curled up there all time. Our guy loves the topmost perch, but every so often his sister decides she wants a turn. Just today, I caught both of them sleeping on the top perch side by side! This is definitely sturdy AND stable!

We can't quite decide which of us loves this structure the most!
This has got to be the best-designed cat tree I have seen in its price range. My lady agrees that it's beautiful, exactly as pictured, and our year-old kitten likes it quite a lot--though he doesn't spend much time on the highest and smallest perch, despite its soft padding. (He has also just climbed onto my laptop keyboard. I'm doing my best to explain that readers will probably understand this review more readily if I type it myself.)Anyway, watching him play, scratch, and stretch out on the various levels of the cat tree is delightful, even if he doesn't always choose the easiest way down. Not surprisingly, a bit of catnip or a few squirts of catnip spray can renew a cat's level of interest.Assembly took an hour and 15 minutes or so, but I was in no hurry, and the process was fairly easy. I'm glad that I followed directions, first taking an inventory of all the parts and making sure I knew which was which. (An extra swinging ball and a few extra bolts were included.) Likewise, it did turn out to be a good idea to position all the bolts required for each step before I really tightened them. The unit and even the fabric coverings seem quite sturdy, though I'm not sure the "cat basket" off to one side would bear up well under the weight of a larger cat. The base is large and stable enough that I see no reason to attach this cat tree to the wall. In fact, we like being able to carry or slide the whole structure from one place to another. In some of the pictures, you can see a strap that is attached to the back of the second-highest shelf, which is meant to be fastened to a wall anchor. This strap could be removed with a screwdriver, but I've simply used two pieces of cellophane tape to affix it to the underside of the shelf, where it will not be noticed. One enormous perk: Now that he has access to this tree, our kitten is much less interested in causing tension by climbing all over my audio rack, the floor-standing speakers, the television, and other tall pieces of furniture covered with knickknacks. -- Oh, never mind. He has just decided to prove that I'm totally wrong about that. (Perhaps this will take a little more training and a lot more catnip.)The booklet includes a suggestion for turning the shipping carton into an extra cat house. With a ruler, a pencil, and strong kitchen scissors, I was able to create two doors and a window, just as pictured--except that the top flaps of the box do NOT overlap, making it impossible to construct a slanted roof. I had to tape these flaps back down to create a flat roof instead. No matter: Our little prince loves the result, probably even more than the cat tree, proving once again that no matter how we conspire to please our furry friends, the presents most effective in delighting a cat's heart are not the most expensive ones.UPDATE: More than two years later, this product has held up remarkably well; it still looks practically new, apart from some wear in the fabric of the hanging basket halfway up (a favorite spot for perching and napping). Lining that area with a cloth napkin is a good idea. Gradually my friend Merrilee has lost interest in the homemade house I constructed from the shipping carton, but he still loves the cat tree--when my lap is not available.

Great buy for the price!
We just got this today. Our previous tower couldn't support the weight of both my cats and would often wobble and crash to the floor when they both tried to play on it at the same time. It was dangerous with my two year old running about as well. So we did some looking and decided to replace our old tower and go ahead with this one. Was very easy to put together. My husband and 2 year old did it in about 30 minutes. I am also quite pleased with the stability of it for the price. My 20lb tabby can climb it with ease and it doesn't wobble under his weight at all. My smaller petite tabby loves the little cave. My 7 year old even got a kick out of the extra instructions about turning the shipping box in to a kitty house! Kept all the kids busy so it's a win in my book! The only thing I didn't entirely like was that the scratching rope doesn't go all the way up the poles. It's very aesthetically pleasing the way it is, but my larger cat misses the mark when he goes for it and ends up scratching at the cloth material most of the time. Granted my large cat is above average for most cats so I don't think it will be an issue for smaller and average sized cats. I do like that it has scratching rope at the base. I also would have liked it if there was some sort of lining inside the little cave area. It's just a thin material and only one claw catch away from a rip. I will probably line mine with cardboard or something else to give it a little extra protection. But that being said, those two things certainly aren't a deal breaker and both my cats enjoy the rope and ball toys and I like that the flat platform is large enough my big boy can sprawl out on. For the price vs quality on this you really can't go wrong. I would recommend this tower!
