I use these exclusively on 1X2 hardwood and so far I'm still on the first wheel. Cuts pretty efficiently through wood. I like em. I haven't tried using them on metal.

They are very capable also replace lots of blades and help you when you forgot to bring the circular saw or the marble blade to the job site. If you had been cutting wood or tiles with that metal cut 4-1/2 saw you will love these three.Less sparks, less blade changes and the wood blade is both good to cut and to trim.

A major reason i got this is for the metal/wood/general cutting. it lasted 1 medium cut of sheet metal and it was gone, totaly worn out. like, done. i was expecting more than 1 small project.

All 3 discs cut material like butter. The red disc especially works great speedily cutting through metals of all types. Highly recommend and will go for more from this company in the future

The red disk and the silver wood disc are pretty awesome.Not sure when you'd want to "rip"/destroy wood like this -- but for taking out wood trash I just cut wood things up like butter. It only has three wood cutting notches per revolution, but that is enough!
