When I finally found this battery for my two Garmin "5" units and contacting Garmin about getting a battery for them and they told me that it would destroy the unit and I could not do the unit. Made me more set on doing it myself. Replacing batteries are simple and with the small package of small tools of screwdrivers and torx bit drivers and flat bit tool to perfectly and easily pop open or close the GPS that it was made for magically. Only one wire was a different color from the Red and Black wire. It worked immediately and was a smidgen shy of being fully charged. 1100 Mah battery compared to the factory garbage 560 Mah low as they could go battery that would only last about 30 minutes or less on a full charge. This should run my GPS unit for quite a few hours at that M ah rating. Thanks so much for the perfect fit. Thanks so much. 😍😍

Replaced the batteries in two Garmin DriveSmart 51 LMT-S devices. The batteries fit fine, although, the orientation was different than the OEM due to how the wires came out of the battery when compared to OEM battery. The batteries seem to work perfectly as intended. A nice surprise was that the new batteries came with the small screw drivers and plastic tool needed to separate the Garmin case. I wasn't expecting the tool kit to come with the battery purchase. Just a note about the Garmin DriveSmart 51 LMT-S unit; Getting the device open is a bit difficult and you must work at it to get the case attachment clips to release the Garmin Screen from the back case. Open the device carefully so you don't damage the ribbon cable or small wires that connect the two halves of the device together when you pull them apart to replace the battery. Open the two halves like a book, but the set of small wires on my device would not allow you to fully open the book because they were not long enough. I had to hold the two halves together with one hand and replace the battery with the other. This was a bit challenging to do by myself, however, it can be done.

I bought this for the GPS that my wife's aunt uses, and it brought it back to life. I'm not sure that there is much else to be said about it, other than I'm happy that it got her fixed up.

Fit perfectly. Installs in about twenty minutes and the tools provided were essential. The screw holding the back on was pretty tiny for your typical tool box.

I bought this battery to replace the dead one in my Garmin Drive 50. Disassembling the Garmin was a bit fiddly, but there's on line videos showing the process. Once disassembled, the battery was a direct replacement for the OEM battery. It's been in my unit for about three weeks and is working perfectly.

Arrived as noted in shipping notice. Watched online vids for proper replacement steps and changed it out without any problems. When ordering, I did not notice any notes about tools included, but was pleasantly surprised to see them included. Made job so much easier. Thank you for including them. Found using a soft pencil eraser tip worked well for working ribbon cable back into it's connector without damage. Battery arrived 3/4 charged. Charged up fully & working fine. Too soon to report on how long battery will last but so I'm happy with purchase.

Battery replacement for Garmin 51 EX included a tool kit to open the device and complete the battery replacement. Opening the Garmin is a challenge, just be patient. This a five minute repair. Battery was about 50% charge on delivery and a correct fit. Good value for money.
