Timex Men's Expedition Ranger Watch

Another good Timex watch for my collection. It's heavy and thick. The indiglo light is very blue compared to my other timex watches. It definitely looks cool on the royal blue color dial. In my picture it came out as bright blue because of my mobile camera's flash. In reality the color looks exactly like the advertise. Way better in person. The brushed gun metal color gave it a casual formal look. I changed the belt with two piece nylon strap though. Because my hands sweat a lot :( kills the leather. But if you are fine with leather you should keep it. Looks good. I plan to interchange with leather belt if I want it to have a formal look whenever I will be attending to any formal party. Try to grab it while it's still on sale.

My new favorite watch! Love the size, look and feel of this. Blue dial is great and the BLUE INDIGLO light is fantastic. Really like the pilot / altimeter looking dial and hands, very easy to read. Surprisingly has enough lume in the hands that I was able to read after 6 hours of total darkness without even having to use the INDIGLO light... Never wore Timex before but this watch has sold me. Hope it holds up, seems well built though. Very happy with my purchase!

Timex surely delivers a classy, rugged timepiece. The Indiglo feature is a must in lowlight conditions. The face is easy to read. My only gripe is that the bezel is for decoration, as it does not rotate.

First, the watch. It's a Timex, so it has that going for it. I've never had a bad Timex.(OK, there was that one where the watch hands seemed to disappear into the watch face, but I digress.)The face is easily readable. The blue color is much darker than it is in the picture, which I actually prefer. Numbers and intermediate marks are nice and big.The date is black lettering on a white background. Honestly, that's the only kind of date that should exist...period. I have one watch where it is white lettering on a black background...it is completely unreadable for my elderly eyes.Indiglo lighting is the best watch feature ever, hands down. Because the watch face is blue, the Indiglo is somewhat dimmed. That's good! On my old Timex (which I gave away) with a white watch face, the Indiglo was blinding when activated in the dark. You could read a book by it! The subdued lighting is perfect.The hands are luminescent, which is a surprise given the Indiglo. The watch face is not luminescent. Not sure why one and not the other. Unfortunately, the hands don't glow very long--maybe 10 minutes. Whatever, you don't even need it with the Indiglo.The band is OK...barely. I've seen cheaper, but not much. I doubt it will last. I probably will switch to a silicone band, so there's that. Remember kids, you get what you pay for.The case is darker than the picture. It ain't black, but you can see it from here.The "diving" bezel doesn't rotate??? It's just for show. You can't dive with this watch anyway, so what's the point? I'd rather have a plain bezel.The second hand is black with a red tip. Against the blue watch face, it is difficult to see. That's fine for me. The only reason I need a second hand is to let me know the watch is actually running.

Purchased this for my husband less than two months ago and the metal piece that buckled it together snapped in half, causing the watch to fall off and crack the crystal. It was a couple weeks out of the 30 day warranty for Amazon. All the band components are a way cheaper and thinner quality of what they used to be. I called Timex and was told it would not be covered. Not only that, I would have to send it in for repairs and they would tell me the cost to repair it when they got it. Seriously? Check the warranty and expect nothing. Amazon offered to take it back, despite it being outside the window of return, just minus a restocking fee.Be wary. We have been buying Timex for over 40 years and the quality has gone down. They will not covered damage caused by their now cheaply made bands. I checked a buckle from an older expedition watch and it was twice as thick and super sturdy. The one felt like aluminum. Very disappointed in Timex and their extremely rude customer service.

Well made and looks great. Very comfortable. Love the built-in light, very useful. Keeps great time. Timex is producing great quality watches.

I loved the look of the watch and the easy to access light. The face is clean and easy to read too. The only downside for me was that the bezel does not rotate which is a feature I need. I liked the look so much I though about keeping it but ultimately returned it and replaced it with a different Timex.

Disappointed that the graduated bezel doesn't turn and you cant use it to time yourself. Purely cosmetic. The wristband is pretty cheap pleather. But it's accurate and will work.

Reloj muy bonito con cristal mineral, no es la gran cosa pero lo prefiero al acrílico, es muy cómodo con muy bonitos acabados, casi no pesa y el indiglo para la noche es excelente, el envió llego sin ninguna complicación y estaba bien empacado el reloj llego sin ningún rasguño, se combina muy fácil y si tienes correas o extensibles pues tienes un reloj multiusosSolo le veo tres cosas malas,1 El bisel no gira solo es adorno, bonito pero no funciona2 La tapa es redonda a presión, yo prefiero las tapas tipo tapa rosca o en su defecto atornilla-bles3 Solo resiste 50m se puede nadar, pero lo ideal debería de ser por lo menos 100mFuera de eso es un gran reloj muy recomendable y seguro lo volvería a comprar

Lo compre por que esta muy bonito, a pesar de ser de la serie Expedition, tiene un diseño que puede usarse con ropa casual, se siente muy resistente el metal, color mate por lo que no se rayara fácilmente, el cristal parece ser mineral no plástico. Las correas de piel genuina y gruesas, parecen ser muy resistentes. Sera mi reloj de diario, así que estoy muy contento.

Amazon muy bien como siempre.El reloj tiene un muy bonito diseño y está bien, sólo un detalle que me a calado (tal vez exagero de mi parte), de toda mi colección Timex éste es el que más refleja la luz en su cristal o tiene siempre una halo blanquesino en el Cristal (pareciera que fuera una mica plástica pero es cristal), en lugares muy iluminados ya viendo el reloj de lado, el cristal siempre tiene un halo blanco que empalidece los colores del dial e incluso las manecillas, algo que dificulta el ver la hora fácilmente, sólo mirándolo de frente no hay reflejos y se ve muy bonito el dial eso sí. En lugares poco iluminados ese halo blanquesino disminuye bastante y ya es más legible la hora (anexo fotos).La luz Indiglo hace que el dial se vea muy bonito en la noche y bien contrastada la imagen final. Sólo las manecillas tienen pasta luminosa pero dura poco la luminancia, casi no es muy útil esa luminancia.La correa es de buena calidad y bastante gruesa pero al final no me convenció el color de la correa en el reloj (por el momento), así que se la cambié por una de silicon azúl que tenía (aunque va de gustos también).El fechador es fácil de ajustar. Para ajustar la hora es algo 'lento' ya que hay que dar muchas vueltas a la corona para llegar la hora indicada.Tomen en cuenta como se vé el reloj en el video que tienen aquí en amazon, porque prácticamente casi casi así se ve ya en vivo, agregando solamente el halo blanquesino en el cristal.

Es un reloj muy bonito, el diseño del bisel y la esfera combinados en azul hace que resalte mucho, la correa se siente muy bien y es muy práctico para el uso diario, no ha presentado ninguna fallo o desgaste significativo tras 1 año de uso.

Me gustó mucho este reloj por su tamaño, combinación de colores, funcionalidad y presentación. Lo recomiendo
