This works fine in the fairly upright position it is designed for. It does *not* work at all if you need to flatten the angle to vac under something. For that reason it would *not* be a good choice for vehicles. There is a collar around the intake that makes it useless in horizontal positions.I use it daily to vac the kitty litter from the bathroom floor. I plug the USB in and charge weekly. The lights give you a good indication of when that is necessary.I have raised the star level from 3 to 4 based on customer service. I find it refreshing that a company actually cares what my review says. The content of the review remains the same. They offered to refund me since I wasn't more satisfied w/the purchase but since I am still using the product that didn't seem fair. They shipped me a different model that I tried and I can say that it would be a better choice for vehicles and situations in which you need to change that vacuuming angle. I tried the short hose in the cup holders and it picked up pennies.

I’ve had and have a few of the hand held vacuums most lack the suction that I need . This unit really works there are 2 speeds and the top speed will pick up at a couple of inch’s .. There are also a hose attachment as well as the long end piece .,and a a spare filter ,washable . I have a use for this that is a bit different besides the normal uses .. I use it in the garden to pick bugs off my tomatoes and eggplants ,this is why I need some suction.. Mind you it’s not a shop vac it won’tpick up a 10 lb rock but for the type of vacuum it is ,,it’s a great unit at a very fair price . Try this one you’ll like it .!

It works as described, though I didn't try it on liquid. It's lightweight, pretty quiet and well made but too low powered for my needs. The machine was packed extremely well. A card inside the box says that if you use the scan code (I don't know about these things) you get extra features, like an extended warranty and a replacement parts list. You'll probably need replacement filters over extended use.READ EVERYTHING IN THE BOX AND DON'T BLAME THE SELLER IF YOU DON'T. Where it says "ACCESSORIES ARE UNDER THIS CARDBOARD", LOOK UNDER THE CARDBOARD. The seller couldn't be more clear about this. Obviously they get a lot of complaints about no accessories; as soon as I placed the order I got an email telling me to LOOK UNDER THE CARDBOARD.At a sale price, not "used", I received one that had been returned but had not been used, so I didn't mind. But I sure know why the previous buyer returned it: it was not assembled correctly. Look carefully at the assembled hose in the included instructions and in the picture above and see that the hose has a black plastic piece plugged into it at each end. The previous buyer had stacked both of those parts on one end of the hose and tried to fit a round plug into a rectangular hole. THE HOSE WON'T WORK THAT WAY.The filter also was installed incorrectly. The filter fits properly only one way and it won't work well in any other configuration. NOTE THAT THE FILTER BASE IS NOT SQUARE, but it's flexible enough that you can jam it in improperly. If you have gaps around the orange edge, the filter is not fitted correctly. The black rubber tab that you use to pull the filter out must be in the same place every time you put it back in the machine.

I was surprised at how sturdy this vacuum is. For the price, it was extremely well packed and very easy to use. Indicator lights are well placed and charges quickly and it is lightweight to hold. I purchased this to quickly vacuum up the cat hair that accumulates in the corners of my stairs. This does the job very well. I love the extra filter and the instructions were clear regarding how to switch speeds. This is definitely worth the money spent!

I have enough vacuums to open a little store -- a moderately large one for each level of my 3 level house, one little old one near a bird case to clean up bird debris and amuse my bird, and now 2 hand helds for the two areas I use most. These locations tell you why -- I like a clean house but I don't like lugging heavy equipment around. These last two small ones were to update myself on what is available with new battery typesNo one really can think these are substitutes for large vacs and no one can think large vacs can do some of the little things these do. And they are easy to handle and store away,Ratings: I gave this one a 4 and will recommend it. But while they do send a very nice customer service advisory via Amazon, it does not touch on the one feature (or lack thereof) that puzzles me, There is a small brush and a crevice tool, but the brush is attached to the crevice tool in a way interesting only after you figure out it doesn't come off, it "unfixes" to slide up the tool and stays there. It has a reasonable long detachable hose useful only after carefully studying both ends, figuring out where fixtures on it detach to recombine to fit the vacuum body. Why not 2 little sentences that tell you that??OK, it has good suction, is fairly easy to clean, so I do rate this highly. and add that its little zip up storage bag is a plus that the other one I just bought does not have
