I usually don't like writing reviews unless I have plenty of time to use the product and put it through its paces - so as to leave an honest review. In this case, I hope I never have to use it. I bought this item when I was moving and had to bring my real protectors, my two great danes, to a friend's house during the process for a month. By appearance it looks like it is a quality product and will work as intended. I like how it is supposed to have a longer duration than most since I've heard that when you get nervous sometimes your reflexes aren't too good. Again, hope I'll never need it!

The power of this Pepper gel is very strong, and because it is a gel, it is appropriate for more windy conditions. I love this, because it does not take up too much room in my pocket, and the clip allows easy access as it clips to my pocket.

Purchased for my wife as she is a realtor. It is small enough to fit almost anywhere and very easy to use.

I purchased this for my daughter, hopefully she won’t need to use it. I like the fact that it’s gel therefore less likely to spray back on the person using it. Great price too!

I have not had to use on anybody so far. My only concern is the security of the red locking lever. Three times I have discovered that the safety lever has flipped from lock to unlock by accident twice when I clipped it into my pants pocket and once when I clipped it to my belt. I am worried that it will accidentally discharge. The nub that is supposed to hold the lever in the locking position. I tested the second canister I bought and discovered the same problem.Previously I bought sprayers that have a flip lid that prevents an accidental discharge. You flip up the lid with your thumb and press the red button. I’ll go back to that design.Finally, I wish the belt clip was longer. I had it on my belt and found it on the ground.
