Review of Furniture Lifter Mover Tool Set to Move Heavy Furniture Quickly & Easily 1000 Lbs Capacity 21 Inch (1 Lifter Tool & 4 Heightening Block)I ordered this to help me in moving my dryer out from the wall. The dryer sits atop a set of utility drawers that came as part of the sale. I used this and then placed sliders under each leg. The device worked wonderfully! It snapped together easily. The handle is long enough to provide plenty of leverage. I did not need the blocks that come with it since the dryer/drawer sits low enough to the floor. But the blocks will come in handy for future lifts of other furniture. I feel it worth mentioning that I first looked at purchasing one of those sliding mats for moving washers, dryers, and refrigerators. But those would be limited use items, whereas this furniture lifter is more versatile. It has a powdered coating on the lift tool. The handle on mine arrived scuffed up. The lift edge was intact. I worried that with no other coating or lining, that this might scratch heavy items on the undersides. I was doing this alone, and it was too hard to tell if I did any damage using this metal lift. I did not see any residue on the tool afterwards. It would be comforting if the device had some type of protective coating, or padding, or something to ensure I am not damaging the underside of whatever I am lifting.

I got this to help me lift some office furniture, files full. Wanted to put sliders underneath. Was able to get the lifting plate under the files fine, and glad it did not have any glued on padding; would have scraped off, or made me lift the file higher to get the lifting bar underneath. Was able to lift with one hand using leverage of the extension, and with other hand, push slider in place, pleased.

This little tool has helped me lift my laundry machines to put on shock absorbing pads, lift my couch to arrange a new rug, lift my bed to arrange another rug, and lift a very heavy vintage chair to put on furniture pads. I did all of these tasks by myself in under an hour and it was all pretty easy.I love that the handle can be long or short. It was a huge help in my tiny laundry room where the longer handle wouldn't have fit. I do wish that the handle extension could snap into place instead of just sliding on, but that's the only downside to this thing.

What a joke. Shoddy design and even shoddier fabrication: two pieces of hollow metal pipe that don’t even stay connected; the one piece slips right out of the other – you have to stick them together with electrical tape which is hilarious to begin with.Assuming the electrical tape holds, the complete gizmo is so short that you have to stoop way down to use it – just bend down another couple of inches and you might as well hoist the bottom edge of the sofa up WITH YOUR BARE HANDS; it only needs to be tilted 1/4 inch in order to slip a furniture moving pad underneath the leg. Depending on the design of the sofa, there are multiple other points at which you could apply some pressure to get each leg to lift that tiny bit that you need.The ‘kit’ comes with four plastic doodads whose height is supposed to give the crowbar-wannabe some added leverage. But they just slip around on the floor and the hollow metal pipe bends under the weight of anything > 200 lbs so unless you are really just staging a scene for a Laurel & Hardy movie, this is a complete waste of time and money.

Needed to put sliders under a monster of a cabinet. It is almost flush with the floor and impossible to lift. This tool did the job with very little effort.

not great for my fridge the bar tolift does not go far enough to lift it

I had my washer break down and had to do some shifting around of both the washer and dryer to get them out of a tight space and onto a dolly so I could get the washer outside and then move the new one into that spot. This tool was a real blessing to have on hand for that, especially with the riser blocks, which I used several times at different heights. When I first unpacked this tool and saw how small it was, I was doubtful about its ability to handle the job. However, I found it to be surprisingly sturdy and durable. Kudos to the sellers for making this handy invention available at a decent price for those of us who have to move heavy objects solo.

Love that I can lift my furniture easily!!! Makes it easy to clean underneath the furniture!!!
