sweet little sewing set, to get kids starting to mend their own socks ??? they dont they just buy new these days , its a cute little box with all the child needs to get started sewing ,my neice i know will like it as she likes mending and doing arty things , worth buying as its so easy to do and will spend time with my neice helping her make something to stick on her wall afterwards x ps its good to get kids into doing practical things themselves builds confidence x

This is a well thought out sewing kit. Easy to follow steps, that aren’t too difficult for children to follow and learn to sew. The only thing is the backing fabric is felt and not the fake fur the toy front is made of. This means the toy is not very durable as the felt stretches. I think this needs improvement, so only four stars.

My 7 year old granddaughter loved making this with me and carries it whenever she goes somewhere. The one negative is that the felt on the back gets big pills and the stitching keeps coming loose. I've had to restitch the stuffed bunny a few times, despite all of the knots I made when sewing it.

Good for Mom or Grammy to do with 8 and 9 year old, but is impossible for them on their own. If you are looking for a project to do an hour at a time on a weekend, then this is it. Probably 5 hours of sewing and measuring.

Product is cheap. Needle broke, no written directions. Only photos. If you click the code to watch a video, it only teaches tou different stitches, not even any directions to assemble the rabit. Very confusing for someone who knows how to sew. Doesn't come with enough stuffing for half of rabbit.
