3M Auto Super Flexible Sanding Sheets, 1200 Grit, 3 pack

This plastic sand"paper" is great for small, curved objects. The rubbery backing really make it easy to grip the sheet, and it keep working long after regular paper-based sandpaper would be torn and tattered.I use this stuff for sanding and smoothing 3D prints that I make, and it works exceptionally well for that. I wish I could find it in more coarse grades to do some faster shaping.This is expensive, compared to normal sandpaper, and there isn't much in the package. It works so much better than paper-based sandpaper, though, that I spend the money. It's worth it.Let me know if you found anything helpful in my review.

I have access to cast my own desktop aluminum airplanes. My hands/fingers sweat real bad and been using 3M abrasive material for a long time. Stopped by the auto body store to pick up my usual stuff to paper down my projects to get ready for buffing. Seen this super flexible paper hanging and never seen it before. Bought it to experiment with. It is far yet the most amazing stuff I have used! The whole entire material is soft. The backing on it is a miracle. Soft and it grips like it should and super flexible, contours and shapes the way I want it to with ease and no slipping! Went back to get more and it was a no go. Auto body place told me it was popular. Mostly those that do crafts. Hard to keep in stock. So, bought it on here.Cons: I wish they were larger full sheets and in larger quantity.

The 320 grit sandpaper is very good quality. Watch out for the size, though. They are very small. In the picture they appear to be normal sized, but if you saw this item at a hardware store, you wouldn't pay $5.00 for it - maybe half that.Fortunately it will be enough for my project, but there won't be any left over for the next one.
