I recently took the Viome Full Body Test, and am thoroughly impressed! The kit arrived the week I ordered it and the instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. It took less than an hour and they made it simple to package and send out from my mailbox.My results came back within a couple of weeks and the insights were mind-blowing! They provided a breakdown of my SuperFoods, Foods to Enjoy, Foods to Minimize, and Foods to Avoid (I unfortunately, had to cut out some of the foods I was eating regularly). The lists were very clear and easy to understand. Viome put together a Nutrition Plan that incorporated all their recommendations, making it super simple to follow. Since implementing Viome's recommendations I've immediately noticed an improvement in my digestion and energy levels.Viome also created a personalized list of supplements and gut biotics tailored specifically to my unique gut biology. I have yet to order these, but plan to order them soon.For too long I was trying different diets recommended by podcasts or books and people who had no idea what my body truly needed. The Viome Full Body Test was professionally packaged clearly and easy to use. The most difficult part of the whole ordeal was drawing the blood samples. I ended up just squeezing the drops of blood from my finger directly into the vial. The instruction booklet and accompanying video demonstrations where clear and well produced. The entire process can be done in as little as 15 mins. If you have been living with discomfort in your gut and having issues that won't just fix itself, using the Viome Full Body Test kit could be a valuable tool to scientifically check what's really going on. Once your results comes back, Viome has many recommendations to address your concerns directly. Highly recommended!

I am a retired emergency physician and a big believer that the microbiome is an important part of good health. I also know that it is complex and that medical science is just starting to scratch the surface of understanding how it all works. There is lots of ongoing research, but still very little known about exactly what interventions can impact health in a positive way, other then to “eat healthy”.When I got my Viome results, it read more like a horoscope, then a medical test result. There are no actual results (I.e. what microorganisms are present in the stool), only Viome’s interpretation of what the results mean. This information is somehow magically created using AI. There is no scientific evidence to back up much of what they say. When I asked for the actual results, I could only communicate with an AI chatbot that gave me the run-around. When I persisted it let me chat with a “human” that was also clearly a chatbot. It was very good at using medical jargon, but what it said was mostly BS. There “results” are mostly used to motivate you to buy there other products. It’s modern day snake oil with a touch of real science.

I had a good experience with the Viome Full Body Intelligence Test. The sample collection process was pretty straightforward. For the blood sample, I would suggest letting it drip directly into the vial and make sure you’re well hydrated before poking yourself.Shipping everything back was simple, and it was nice that you can track where your samples are and when you’ll get your results.The report broke everything down in a way that was understandable, although it could go into more details. The test was able to confirm issues that my doctors hadn’t been able to identify even after a colonoscopy and prescribing (incorrect) medications. Even after pushback and telling her it wasn’t helping with the massive bloating I was experiencing, she insisted I keep taking the meds. No nutrition counseling or anything.Now I know exactly which foods to avoid and which ones I can enjoy without triggering GI symptoms. And I was able to get these answers without having to go through an elimination diet and slow reintroduction process, which can be really restrictive, frustrating and difficult to do (I was unsuccessful at doing it earlier in my life).Overall, I feel like this test gave me clarity and direction that I hadn’t been able to get anywhere else. Now comes the hard part of making changes to my diet.

I was really impressed with the Viome test. The instructions were very throughout and easy to follow. The packaging made it easy to find exactly what you needed for each test which was helpful.The results came back quickly too, within two weeks. They were easy to read and gave great recommendations that I’ve started implementing. I appreciated how easy it was to understand their recommendations and how they called out super foods and food to avoid. It was very personalized and even had results on oral care. I can already tell a difference in the small adjustments I started making. I would definitely recommend if you’re interested in a personalized health overview and how you can improve your overall health.

This test is not actionable. You get a list of gut bacteria - but it doesn't list which ones are out of balance nor does it tell you which ones are "good" vs "bad". You get a list of "zones" and whether they need to be "maintained" or "improved" or take "action". But again, it doesn't give you a specific list of what's going on. You get a list of things they want to sell you. Don't waste your money on a rabbit hole of vague explanations and no specifics.

I purchased the kit and received results that I guess are accurate. But it really doesn’t tell you what to do. Despite the cost I haven’t used the result and didn’t want to pay for an upgraded subscription.
