ARONICO Aglet Heaven Shoelace Bird Play Ring, Small

We have a cockatiel whose truest desire in life is to destroy my husband's shoelaces. He ignored nearly all other toys, totally uninterested, preferring to bide his time, waiting for an unattended shoe. So when I saw this, I was hoping he would love it, but totally expected him to ignore it like every other toy. But I was wrong! He absolutely adores this toy. He sticks his entire head and body inside of it, just reveling in all of the hot aglet action. He particularly enjoys that the shoelaces are designed to have maximum aglet space by placing the plastic not just on the ends, but in the middle of the string as well. I'll definitely be buying more of these for Mr. Chell and I'm sure he'll be the happiest bird on the block.

I reviewed the larger version that my 4 babies love to chew on together, but the same holds true for this smaller Aronico Parrot Aglet Heaven Shoelace Bird Play Ring toy. My babies go bonkers over it and it is a perfect size for inside the cages. Cannot think of a more perfect toy for them (other than a stick of Balsa wood). Thank you Bonka Bird Toys for this simple yet genius toy. My babies can never get enough of it.

Wow, $12? Really? It’s small enough to fit in an envelope easily but in reality, my bird loves it & preened all the shoelace ends right off. Is it worth that much for an hours fun? That’s up to you! I wish I could afford a box of these with all the extra plastic sleeves & tips—he never enjoys plain shoelaces this much (of course).

Best toy ever for my Galah! He is obsessed with shoelaces so this is absolutely perfect to keep him busy for hours...it's his favorite toy and I've already ordered another one!

This toy lasted about three days. The hanging loop is not secure, and any parrot that likes to untie knots will have this undone in a matter of minutes. You can find this same item on planet pleasures website for $6.95. Not worth the mon I paid here.

Bought this almost a year ago. My flock of budgies still love to chew on it and it's still going strong.

I like this shoestring toy and so does my Indian Ringneck parrot. He tends to chew his feathers, and having lots of shoelaces to chew gives him something else, but similar to a feather, to do. I think the shoelace ends are like grooming the feathers as they grow out. I recommend it.

My cockatiel loves this toy! He spends hours playing with it and will even go into his cage to play with it during his "out" time. He gives it 5 stars.
