Overpriced
The USB-A to Mini-B cable is incredibly overpriced. There is currently a Lindy USB-A to Mini-B cable for £2.27 that does the same thing. Cisco devices with a Mini-B console port have a built-in serial-to-USB converter, therefore any USB-A to Mini-B cable capable of data transfer will do the same thing. DO NOT use this on Brocade switches that have a Mini-B console port. Those do not have this converter built-in. You will fry the console port.

This usb console cable works perfectly on the newer tplink switches. Yes you can configure the switch via the web interface but I like adjust the switch while in the rack to check firmware or settings. Great addition to the budding IT worker.
