Q: Do i have to use all four rca? Or can i just use 2 of the rca. One input and one output

This has two input and two output. You can use one input and one output, however the pre-amp voltage will be cut in half.

Q: How long is the cable ?

Mine had cable pairs that were 10 inches (26cm) long.

Q: Is this potentiometer audio taper or linear taper?

Neither.... This potentiometer is not different from a volume adjuster..... It connects to the audio unit RCA's and the amplifier pushing the bass drivers..... All it does is increase and decrease the bass volume.

Q: Will this control two separate powered subs?

No. It's just like the one that connects to amp with phone cable. But they RCA. Much cleaner you can try 2 y-adapters and connect both amps but it might control both amps in unison or the unit might blow
