Sturdy Emergency Kit with everything you need!
This 1 person emergency survival kit is defintely worth it. I live in CA (SF Bay Area) where we have earthquakes & fires. I’m hoping to never have to put this to good use but you never know. What I first noticed when unpacking the 72hr deluxe emergency kit was how sturdy the backpack is. A bright red & gray color with two sturdy over the shoulder straps as well as a waist strap. I noticed several pockets on both the left and right side as well as one in the middle. Both can be used to add extra items if needed. When unpacking the kit has just about everything you need if ever a disaster hits. What really impressed me was the 12 pack of emergency drinking water as well as the crusader one radio. In addition a very well packaged sleeping bag, hooded poncho, leather working gloves, army knife + more are included. All items are well packed and give you extra room to add additional items if needed. [Extra added items I have added to the bag & still have room. Flashlight + batteries (on side pockets) Old pair of shoes & socks, Marker + small notebook Cash if needed] Hoping to never put this to use but also I now have a peace of mind knowing this will come in handy if a disaster strikes. Thank you 72HRS for putting such a great disaster kit together! Definately recommend to others who are looking for something like this. You won’t be dissapointed.

A great tool for any emergency. Don't wait till you wish you had prepared.
I am in California under fire, earthquake, water restrictions and water emergencies. Take control of your situation while you have the time and ability. I was impressed with what this kit came with. The emergency radio and power brick connection are very important. Any phone can get extra power. It is a combo light. The water pouches are enough for any emergency. It has a little tent and candles. Rope, duct tape and matches. If you have never been in a situation where you need a fire, you would understand how valuable these items are. I urge everyone to take a look at this 72hr pack. Consider it insurance it a situation was come up. It is all in a light weight back pack that can be easily carried with you and put in the care. I was surprised with the construction of the backpack. It has comfortable padded shoulder straps very wide side carrying pouches. The bottom has nylon straps to carry a blanket of large tarp. The back has molle straps that can carry knives, accessories and more the most valuable item a light so you can be spotted. This back pack give you time in case of an emergency. It can be the difference in giving you more time to get help or wait for help. I hope that everyone is taking steps to the challenges that many feel are coming to us all.

Comprehensive/Compact
A premium reflective backpack which stores survival tools in one location for quick access and survival for 72 hours. The reflector strips make the backpack easy to find and identify. I will be taking this backpack in my camping van for emergencies. Otherwise, it will stay in my house. The individual contents are listed on the webpage. This kit meets all my emergency needs for food, water, shelter, lighting/communication, first aid, shelter, and search/rescue. I am delighted the kit's emergency food are bars (expire 4/27) since I am not fond of MREs. I solar charged and also used the hand crank-powered dynamo radio/light; it worked as stated. I am impressed that I can use this radio as a power bank to charge my phone. The peace of mind this kit provides me is priceless.

Great quality
I liked that the backpack is made out of quality materials. The bag is a little heavy but the weight distributes pretty well along the shoulder straps The waist strap also helps take some weight off the shoulders. I was impressed by how well the items are packed inside. They come in clear bags so you can see what is inside without having to take everything apart. This is a great bag to have in the house for emergencies and it is easy enough to take on long road trips.

Great kit
After this last earthquake swarm which was like 10 earthquakes a day for a couple of days we finally decided to get a survival kit. The bags are okay not anything I would call amazing but they seem sturdy and are think. I just worry about the zippers, they are fine so far so maybe it’s nothing. The contents are neatly kept in ziplock type bags. The food and water were both manufactured a month ago so they have the five years which is great. There is also a 36 hour candle which I thought was a great thing to have. Things I will maybe add on my own are glow sticks, small sewing kit and a better crank radio. The one that is included doesn’t charge your phone and other kits included that type so I saw that as a bit of a down side but the other kits didn’t have the four person option. The other reason I left a star out was that the first aid kit could be a bit better imo. The case for the kit looks like it could break easily especially since that is a part of the kit I could see myself and others using for more than just big emergencies but also minor injuries at home. Good thing about the bag is it has some room to add things you think may be needed. I’ll add the photo of a roll of toilet paper so you can get an idea of how much room you have. It’s a great kit and I do feel better now that I have something just in case. It’s an interesting thing to buy because you spend a good chunk of money on something you hope you will never use! I’ll add some photos since this product surprisingly doesn’t have any, hope they help.

The 72HRS Deluxe Emergency Preparedness Kit is an excellent all-in-one survival pack. It includes everything you’d need for three days — food, water, first aid, flashlight, radio, and shelter essentials — all neatly organized in a sturdy backpack. The quality feels solid, and it’s ready to grab and go during any emergency like a power outage, earthquake, or storm. It gives real peace of mind knowing you’re prepared. Highly recommended for home, car, or travel safety.

I waffled a bit on whether to buy a pre-packaged emergency kit or build my own. I did some research and priced out kits, and in the end I decided that the most cost effective and least time-consuming option would be to get a kit and add a few supplemental items that aren't included in the kit. I looked around at kits and chose this one because it seemed like the most comprehensive option. It arrived very quickly. The 3-person kit is contained in two backpacks. The backpacks are good quality, with lots of pockets and extra room to add some additional items that I think are important. My kit was supposed to come with a radio, however when it arrived the radio wasn't there. I contacted the sellers and they were very friendly and accommodating and my radio arrived a couple of days later. I'm pleased with how comprehensive this emergency kit is. There are just a few things that I will add to the kit, such as life straws and supplies for my furry family members.

A really excellent, comprehensive emergency kit with a ton of great items, packed well, and the backpacks seem sturdy enough. There’s room to add a few more things, which is great if you need to factor a pet in, for example. One thing to check is that they include a little 5V lithium ion battery with the radio and it’s a good idea to test it. Ours was in bad shape, looked old, and as soon as we plugged it in to test if it would charge it was off-gassing a terrible smell and puffing up: fire hazard. Straight to e-waste! Might have just been luck of the draw, and you can replace the battery cheaply enough or use AAA’s to run the radio instead, but I imagine a lot of folks just store the bag without knowing there’s a battery in there that should probably be checked. Otherwise this is excellent, though, and good value.

Just received my 4 person kit. It looks great. Items are nicely packaged and the back packs themselves are of good quality. There is enough space in the bags for extra items and lots of pockets to help organize your items. One question? Wondering how to get those grey Canadian flag appliqués? I saw them on a fellow reviewers picture. There is Velcro on the bag in that area so I’m wondering where the person got them or do they come with the kit and they are in one of the packages? Would love to know where to get the flags?

The entire kit is nicely prepared for most basic needs. It has room to add some of your own stuff which is great. I bought for an emergency preparedness kit- so I'm quite happy with the stuff in the kit that was included. The radio seems pretty good, comes with the lithium-ion battery. Everything in the kit seemed to have dates that were within 1-2 months of manufacture so most of the stuff will be good for 4+ years (the water purification has less time on it 2026 but everything else was 2027) I can't say if the ration bars are any good - I have not tasted them :), when i get to 6 months left on them I'll open and try them, and order new ones at that point if they are ok... lol
