I have pigs (kune kune). And while they are at a weight I can handle now, they won’t alway be. Food time what chaos! The 3 pigs would go crazy trying to get to each others food bowls and I needed to train them before they become too big for me to be able to move or pick up and place at their own food bowl. This prod worked. I gave a verbal command for them to go to their own bowls…and of course I was ignored. Each got a quick shock on their hind quarters. Next day feeding same thing. Day 3 - they now understood what my command meant and went to their own bowls. Now they just see me with the prod and hear my command and all 3 go to their food bowl and wait. Now I don’t even have the prod with me, I just give the verbal command. It only took 3 days and a total of 3 quick shocks and my problem was solved.

I bought 2 of these to mainly control our dogs - we live in the country and have hunting dogs. From time to time they break out and start fighting with our shepherds and I am just not physically able to get them apart. The last time I got injured (not on purpose) because I got in the middle of 4 120lbs+ dogs which was my stupidity. So, when my husband isn’t here I needed another option. It took 1 time and they separated. Of course this is a last resort, but I promise it will only take 1 time . The charge lasts a pretty good while. For a cheap option I would highly recommend. We don’t use it daily, but it has 100% worked as described. Very light weight and easy to use to use.

This works as it should. Gives me the help I need to keep the cows and pigs moving ad needed. Easy to use, quaint is there, charges easily.

I've used several different brands of cattle prods and they all break eventually. What surprised me about this one is the lightness due to amount of plastic in it. I didn't have much hope that it would last but I was desperate. It works great until the charge starts to wear down then the output drops drastically - sometimes not even enough to get the cattle's attention but still worth the money.
