Great product. I have 4 of them.

Seemed like a nice cable... But the USB side was only making intermittent contact after only 5 months of light use. Disappointing.

I've bought multiple cheaply made cables off amazon because I can't bring myself to pay Apple prices. Inevitably the cables break or fray due the poor quality or end up giving an incompatible error. I'm very pleased to report that this cable is of very high quality. I attempted to take a clear picture of where the cable meets the charging port that gets inserted to the phone (where most cables usually break first). The connection is very firm, solidly made, and of high quality. I don't see this breaking or splitting. The actual cord is covered by cloth rather than rubber or plastic which again makes for a much smaller likelihood of cracking or splitting.The cord comes in a sleek little white Applesque box that would make it good for gift giving. The cord is a nice red color with black accents.Overall, it's a high quality cord at a nice price.

The cable did its job well and is very durable. I would say I handled this cable just like any other user would. The reason for 3 stars is because it has lost its function to charge my iPhone. There aren't any inherent physical damages to the cable. Other cables work fine. Decent product, overall.
