I personally use it for my laptop. It only has one HDMI port and with a typical HDMI splitter it does not allow me to have more than 2 screens. (The laptop lid screen and 1 external monitor.) But since my laptop has a USBC port it allows me to have up to four screens! (including my laptop lid screen) It also makes it so much easier to transport my laptop as the only thing I have to unplug is my power cord and the USBC docking station. It seems to have no latency and my external mouse and keyboard also plug into the hub so it really lessens the hassle. It seems sturdy enough as far as I can tell, and really helps with cord management. Furthermore it allows me to use a Display Port that my laptop doesn't have! Which is a feature I was really excited about. So I can just change the input from my work laptop to my Xbox without shuffling any cords around. And it isn't too hard on the wallet either for the quality and performance. The only thing I have noticed is that if I forget to turn off my computer over night the hub gets just a little warm. (No where close to hot) So that may be something to keep an eye with extended use. I was a bit worried that it may not work just plugging in using USBC but it seems like if you have a USBC port it works without issue. But what I find really amazing that I think should be noted, I tried plugging my Ipad Air into it. And it works! I can use my Ipad with my mouse and keyboard on a monitor! So it opens up possibilities for those on a budget :)

This works great. It connects to my computer thru a USB -C which is great because I rarely use it. Then gave me two more HDMI ports but my windows setup only supports 3 displays . I haven't figured out how to make windows do more than 3 displays. Also which makes it better is the SD card slots , both sizes. I got a refurbished laptop from amazon which is also great but it didnt have card slots so i had to use a usb adapter. It also had the 3 USB 3.0 ports. In turn was great for the external keyboard and mouse dongles. So this AWESOME SICK little hub adapter on my laptop gives me every connection i could possibly need , The hard part was picking the right variation, YES they have a bunch or different setups to choose from . love it

Update: 1-star After DisplayPort didn't work at all on second device received HDMI output died on HP Elitebook 845 G8. Do yourself a favor and buy a proper docking station and be done with it. These inexpensive things just burn up your time. Overall great device. Good quality for the price. DisplayPort would not work with an HP Elitebook 845 G8. Had the dock replaced. Same problem with the second dock. Tried different DisplayPort cables. No change. Works with HDMI. Just keep that in mind and it will be fine.

Works. HDMI ports challenged. Connectors did not fully seat upon initial install, not really apparent. Spotty connection, had to wiggle/push connectors in further to resolve. Unit runs quite warm to touch but thus far operates ok. Sad it didn't come with power adapter as shown in graphic.

I have been using expensive Lenovo thinkpad Grn2 docking station for hooking up two 24 inch monitors for my work from home setup. However at times it has issues, needs constant driver updates and does not provide same resolution on both monitors. So I took a chance to buy this cheaper docking station. This worked like charm out of the box and I was able to connect my monitors to both HDMI and DP ports seamlessly with no need of any driver installation. This docking station works wonderfully. I have recommended to all my friends.

I've purchased this docking station for use with my MacBook Pro 16" (2019) and my HP Elitebook 850 G8. My main goal was to eliminate all the cables I need to attach to my laptops and this docking station works well! I'm using the docking station to connect keyboard/mouse, webcam, headset, and HDMI and DisplayPort monitors running at 4K to my laptops. In addition, I use the power delivery option so my laptop power supply is also connected to the docking station. Everything seems to work fine. Since the device works fine with all my devices, I purchased additional units for each laptop and one for my office. Now all I need to do when moving my laptop is to disconnect one USB C cable!

Avec 2 HDMI et 1 display port qui fonctionnent bien, ce produit est très polyvalent. Il est très utile si vous avez plusieurs écrans et / ou plusieurs ordinateurs équipés un port lightning. Ça permet de réduire le nombre de chargeurs et de mieux organiser les câbles Il chauffe un peu en mode power delivery, mais pas excessivement. L'emplacement du port de lecteur carte SD pourrait être revu: ce sera beaucoup plus pratique s'il se trouve du côté des ports USB.

I got this dock so that I can use the company laptop at home without having to use a lot of cables plugged into it. The dock connects to the laptop's thunderbolt port and provides power and hdmi to the screen without problems. It replicates the laptop screen on the external screen, which is enough for me at home. The laptop is Dell Latitude 5320. The only thing to watch is to connect the dock to the laptop thunderbolt port that has the power and thunderbolt symbols. This laptop has two ports, but one has only thunderbolt symbol and it does not provide video to the screen, just the power. On this laptop, the good port is the one closer to the corner. The hdmi cable from the dock is connected to a multi hdmi switch and that works too. The only thing that did not work properly was wireless keyboard and mouse. It seems that the dongle must be plugged in directly into the laptop's usb port to work well. Altogether, I am very happy with the purchase. When I am in the office I use Dell original dock, which is much bigger in size and in price but it does the same job, so I would recommend this one.

Works very well and seems very compatible. Recommended to a friend and he bought 2 for his complex 3 monitor setup. Very happy

Letzterer lässt eine Datenrate von >800 Mbps zu. Alles auf Anhieb erkannt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

I have used this as a dock for my Lenovo Thinkpad T14. I work from home so its in use 40+ hours per week. I purchased it as a stop gap while my official Lenovo dock is on back order from my employer. It provides passthrough power sufficient to keep my device fully charged even during heavy use. I have three screens connected 2x HDMI and 1x DP, as well as my laptop screen. It manages the 4 displays well although limits each to 1080p. I didnt experience any lag or flicker. However after about 6 weeks the dock died. I suspect when I connected a USB-3 hub to it it popped. Amazon handled the return for full refund and I was happy enough to repurchase. Although sadly price had increased by £12 at this point. This is the reason for my 4star review. Personally I think its excellent value for money when you consider branded propriety docks are £250+ however I have experienced a complete failure. I would recommend for low use or perhaps a spare desk set up or travel set up. Which is what I eventually intend its use but if you are relying on this to do your job Id advise going for the heavier duty propriety manufacturer docks.
