8-Ports HDMI KVM Switch

This was a great purchase. It works perfectly. I have 2 computers and used this KVM switch to share a large monitor, a gaming Corsair keyboard (which uses 2 usb plugs), a wireless mouse, and a set of Bose speakers. The directions take a little interpreting

This seems like a great idea, but don't waste your money and time. Go between switches caused monitors to blink randomly and go dark for long periods of time. The only resolution is unplugging this "4K KvM 8port Switch" from the monitors wait a couple minutes, then plug this unit back in which restarts this "4K KvM 8port Switch" Yes! I adjusted monitor(s) resolution to no avail. and replaced their crappy "prepackaged HDMI cables" which works but defeats the purpose of less cabling. Imagine doing this during a teleconferenced presentation. I definitely will NOT and can NOT recommend this to anyone.

The Item worked as advertised except that the remote stopped working after 10 days of use. I thought the battery might be bad but after replacing the battery it is still not working. I have several different brands of KVM devices. I like this one because it is smaller than others and uses less cabling to make connections. The HDMI cable provides the power to the box so no extra powoer supply is required, and the USB cable is integrated into the HDMI cable ,so if you hate cable clutter this is the device for you. It is not as solidly made as other KVM devices that I own, but that would not be an issue with me because the smaller size and better cable management offset that negative, I need a remote because the KVM switch is an inconvenient distance from my desk. It would have been a 5 star review because of the features and low price but because of the problem with the remote it is 4 stars. I will try to get a replacement remote and will be updating this review with my experiences.

KVM SWITCH IS DEFECTIVE. SCREEN BLINKS AFTER 8DAYS OF PURCHASING. TELL ME HOW TO REPLACE IT.

You can only view one at a time the KVM that a have the 4 in & 1 out I can view all 4 at a time …. In one of its picture it shows multiple view so I thinks this is add is not so true full New info added The remote stop working 2 weeks ago so that would 1 1/2 months remote don’t work I put new bat still don’t work Very disappointed
