How does this do when vacuuming tank?

It vacuums well. However, note that the sand looks white when it comes in the package (dry)....but when wet, it is a light brown.

Is this soft enough for a fahaka puffer?

I do not see why not its a soft sand its not super course like some can be

Is this okay for fresh water tanks? I have Cory Catfish

I used this for my fresh water tanks and have not had any issues. I also have Cory Cats. I did read after purchasing that sand could be harmful to cory cats becuase it's so abrasive, but I have not had any issues.
