Perfect!!
This lamp was a very crazy weird blue! I never painted anything in my life but didn’t want to keep it blue. I found this paint and was kinda hesitant.. only because I never done this lol 😂 but I’m so happy I did! I only had to do 1 coat of this paint and it did the job I couldn’t see the blue or nothing!! And it’s so pretty!! Get it!

Would Be a Good Product
The inner seal must have been not properly sealed because when I opened the cap there was dryed paint around the neck. This has caused the paint to thicken and become gel like.

Inexpensive chalk paint that does the job!
I started using this chalk paint about 15 years ago as it was one of the first on the market and available at my local arts and crafts store. I've completed numerous furniture rehab projects using this product. It goes on easy, no sanding no prepping necessary. Usually takes a good 2 or 3 coats and I always follow up with a clear wax. The antique wax works ok, you definitely need to wipe off right away. For a fraction of the price of some other products on the market, especially if your just beginning to use chalk paint, this is an absolute must!

Excellent paint!!!
I've bought this paint on 3 separate occasions now. I love this colour and pairing it with a dark antiquing wax, it gives the finished product an old barn wood look. The paint is very thick so for the most part only one coat is needed. I sometimes water it down a bit when I want a particular look for my finished product.

Five star product!!
This chalk paint is awesome! Painted a fairly large dresser with 3 coats and still had some product to spare. It’s quite thick so you could definitely get away with 1-2 coats. The colour was exactly what I was looking for, will definitely be purchasing this brand for future projects.

Durable, good quality, recommend!
Very good quality. The same as AS. Boight for my kitchen cabinets. I have dark brown kitchen. If you want to safe paint better to use 2 coats of primer. Easier to put few coats of primer as paint is very thick. For now i have 2 jar of paint. Kitchen is big and i will need to buy few more. If i will not use primer i will need 4 more jars. With primer is anough 1 coat of paint and few corrections after.Fast drying time.I did with silver shades on the sides, it helps cover some mistakes, people pay attention to the white and grey.Very durable. I left 1 side of the island not covered by water based laquer for 1 week, children were playing close to and nothing was seen. No any chipping.I put water based laquer on top. 3 coats. Very fast drying time.Using 8 shape to put paint and laquer, it makes beautifull look better than stright.

Easy to apply when add a bit of water.
I’ve used Annie Sloan in the past but they just cost too much so now I’m trying this and I’m liking it. Really not much of a difference in terms of texture. The thing with chalk paint is they’re always gonna be very thick no matter the brand - undiluted you’ll get too much onto one spot and be desperately applying elbow grease to spread the paint around. So I always mix in some water till I get a good consistency to work with. It took 2 coats for good coverage and a bit more here and there for touch ups and the paint never got too thick to cause an issue. The color: I read many complaining that the sage color is more bluish than green and that’s actually the color I wanted. So if you’re looking for true sage green this is not it. This looks more like the cooler toned eucalyptus, actually even bluer than that. Or a duck egg blue. This brings me to one major complaint I have which is not about the product but the marketing by folkart. There is no place online to find a good color sample/representation of the colors. Even on their own website their so-called color reference swatches were done with the one same photo of a painted piece of moulding that was digitally tinted into different colors using very bad photoshop skills. That’s rather appalling considering theyre an art supplies company.Packing: I was worried about spills since I’ve read about many incidences of paint spilling all over the box and mine was to be shipped halfway across the world, but luckily I had just a little bit of dried paint marks at the base of the box and the 2 bottles I ordered survived the trip. In fact the paper foil that sealed the top appeared to be still intact so I’m surprised there was even a leakage.

Good value for money, chalk paint just isn’t for me
This was my first time using chalk paint. I’ve painted many furniture pieces with many types of paint and chalk paint is probably my least favourite of them all but that’s just my opinion. I’ve had to do 3 coats and that’s not even a top coat yet. The second and third coat takes a lot of paint because that first layer eats the paint. Has nothing to do with Folk Art, it’s just the texture itself. I’m about to start another piece and will be using the Satin Multi Surface from Folk Art this time.
