We had the router in the entertainment center at first. After the setup our internet was buffering ALOT! So we put the router in window seal and SUCCESS NO MORE BUFFER!

I live in a rural area where cable internet is horrible at the most we get 10GB. So we went to AT&T and they hooked us up with a hotspot plan and told us to look on Amazon for a hotspot modem. I came across this one and decided to give it a try. It seems to be doing okay as for now. Last night was the first night we used it. tried to play Call of Duty it worked for a little while and then a big lag started to hit. We do live in an area where the service is pretty horrible so not for sure if it’s the hotspot or the service it’s self. Sometimes we get 30-50mbps and other times we get like 3mbps. The battery it came with I don’t think is all that great it starts dying within a few hours of use.Update: it’s been a couple months. I’m having to restart this box every 30mins or so to get the max signal for my area. When I restart the box I get max speed around 30mbps and over time it drops dramatically.

Set up was very easy. We’ll use this camping and I’m sure it will work great. The price was also very reasonable for this quality. I would recommend purchase.

Works well I have a teen who does gaming main tv and two phones running seems to handle them all well. Does work better by a window

This is the third one I bought. The first one lasted for quite a few years but now finally became unreliable. I still had the Sims card so I just popped it in this one. Otherwise, you have to go to an actual AT&T corporate store to get a pre-paid plan for this hotspot router. The retails stores do not know how to do this. Call ahead. This is a great solution to rural needs for internet connection.

This is only Internet available to us without going expensive satellite. The older device, identical, had been giving us some problems, difficulty connecting, slow speeds. But - we're are in a lousy area for creek phone coverage so don't know whether the old service was failing or it's just our lousy cell coverage. We shall see

The battery was bad. It died within an hour of being unplugged from the power source. It had been plugged up and charging for more than 24 hours so I’m sure was charged properly. I requested a refund but I never received a response from seller.

We live in a rural area with no available internet service so we got wireless internet. All was well until our modem 'died. After trying a couple of alternatives we purchased this modem-router. It's signal is much stronger than before! Great product!
