it works on my painful corn/callous
for quite a while I have tried all sorts of stuff to help the painful corn/callous just under my little toe. Excruciating! I worried about knee and hip problems, because I had to alter the way I placed my foot ascending & descending the stairs. Couldn't walk barefoot in my house, stopped jumping rope, doing yoga, and really didn't enjoy the long walks I take each day. Podiatrist helped, but temporarily, until the callous and corn grew back. Finally! found this strappyfeet. I had used so many different things to help, that I didn't think it would do anything. Wrong!!! The first time I wore it, walking was not painful, first time in quite a long time. I adjust the 'notch' in the band just below the sore spot and that absorbs the weight shift when I walk. Miracle! I used it for a week all day long and by end of week, I could climb stairs, walk barefoot, painlessly. Yes, you do have to adjust it under your sock; that's a small price for no pain. I noticed that after a few days, it did slip a little bit. I just gave it a rest, used the 2nd one and washed the 1st one. I haven't jumped rope with it on yet; but I have used a 'rebounder' and it works well, (shoes on) so pretty sure the jump rope won't be a disqualifier. Everyone is different; this sure helps me.

They Might Work.... If They Stayed In Place
This seemed like a dream when I first put it on. It was exactly as promised and, after weeks of walking on a very painful plantars wart, I was in heaven. This lasted for about 30 seconds as the little bugger started shifting around on my feet. You just can't get then tight enough to be secure and I have wide feet! Size 8.5 W, so a very common size and one that a product should be expected to fit. I kept sliding the pad into place, and it kept shifting around. I tried "taping' it into place athletic tape, but that defeats the purpose. I tried wearing tight socks, borrowed from my 11-year-old-son. They helped keep it in place, but slipped around slowly, and were much more difficult to adjust back into place, having to take off the sock, readjusting, then putting the sock back on. 90% of the time, it slipped out of place just from putting the sock back. So, to sum it up: Great idea in concept, poor idea in execution. I believe that itj ust needs to smaller and then the "hole" would be tighter. With some minor adjustments, it could be made to be better. For now, it's a useless piece of rubber out by the curb for trash day

This product may work for corns, etc. It was the wrong instrument for my foot pain.
I think that this product was inappropriately diagnosed for my ailment. This is not the vendors fault.

Works Great When It Works
Broke my pinky toe when I was young and now, 40 years later, has caused a callous to form under the broken bone. So anything soft is comforting! This product works great IF you can get a sock over it and get it to stay in place. If not, all bets are off.

Hard to keep in place
I really like this stretchy material, but when I try to put my socks on over it, it rolls up and is no longer where I want it. I tried wearing it over socks, but when I put my shoes on, it gets rolled and moved. I think the only way I can wear this is either barefooted (which I rarely am) or over my socks without shoes. I had high hopes for these. They just don't work for me and I would return them if I hadn't thrown the packaging away.

Like a comfort mat in my shoe!
As someone who has long suffered from painful corns on the ball of my foot, I find this product to be superb at relieving pressure while also staying in place. You need to take a few moments to position it correctly in your sock, but this is nothing new for anyone using a product to relieve foot pain. I have a hard tile floor at home which often hurts my feet, and my favorite place to stand is on my kitchen comfort mat. This product puts the same kind of springy relief in my shoe. It is great for running, and because it is washable, it's more economical than the standard foot pad. It also doesn't flatten out like others I have used. My only suggestion would be if the manufacturer could also devise a "strap-less"feet pad to be used with ladies' dress shoes -- I have yet to find a product that works for that! Also, it might be good to offer this in a narrow size so that people with hard-to-fit feet can use it barefoot. For the average width foot, though, this works just fine. Can be worn on either foot -- if you have an issue with both feet, order two!

No lift
While the unit stays in place and the gel inside is 'soft', there was not the arch support/lift I was looking for. If discomfort is located within the arch, this might work, but I wanted my arch lifted enough to take pressure OFF the padded area just under my toes, where a callous had formed. This was not the one!! The gel 'caved in'.

I can walk without pain coming from callus on bottom of my foot!!
I broke my ankle 9 years ago & a small bone by a toe has been hitting the ground first every time I take a step & created a callus. So painful every day, all day. Been using foam circles & foam cushions in shoes-only temporary relief. This little strap has eased 99% of the pain!! The pressure is taken away from that spot. Stays in place nicely -I like best with a sock over it. Going to get a couple more so I have back-ups!! You will not regret this purchase :)
