Powdered Eggs
Tastes great. Work in ways regular eggs does. Good to have on hand in case of emergencies.

Does what it says, with style.
This is defiantly a "go to" product.I live in an apartment that includes a frost-free refrigerator. The problem is that when I would buy a half-dozen fresh eggs from the store, it would take less than a week for them to turn into "individually packaged jello shooters". I already had an affinity for powdered eggs from when I was in the Navy, so I wanted to try this out as a long-term solution. The first test was packaging. I REALLY like the way Cinnimonster packaged the product. Stout, resealable bag with a gusset so it will stand on its own.The second test was scrambled eggs. Amazing flavor. These aren't the typical powdered eggs you learned to loathe in boot camp. Just a really fresh taste and cooking was very straight forward. No surprises at all. No grit, no chemical taste, just fresh scrambled eggs. The powder tends to be "clingy", so make sure you tap your measuring spoon. I let the water and egg mixture sit for 5 to 10 minutes while the pan heated up.I still want to try them in baking. They seem like an excellent idea for this purpose. Mixing the powder with dry flour just makes sense, just don't forget to add to add the extra water to the mix.I plan to store the resealed package in my refrigerator's veggie bin, we'll see how well they hold up over time. For camping and outdoor activities, this product is a no-brainer. Just measure out what you'll need for breakfast into a zip-lock bag.Any negatives? Not really, the price was slightly high, and I considered docking it one-half to one star due to cost, but this isn't Cinnimonster's fault. The one pound package IS fairly large. This is a thin gripe, but I don't think even The Brady Bunch had three dozen eggs in the kitchen. Still, for (cold) shelf stability and outdoors use, some smaller package options would (IMO) be a hit with the buyers. Maybe a smaller multi-pack of 2,3, or 4 eggs (equivalent)? Defiantly half-dozen or one dozen (equivalent) packages would be a winner.

Great Real Egg Flavor ----- easy to use!
The reason for purchasing this product was so that I wouldn't need to waste a regular egg (so valuable these days) on a baking project or on egg tortilla..... I was nervous about using it as I had never used something like this before. I took the plunge the other morning and made our breakfast tortilla sandwich with the dried egg.... the egg powder mixed up well using a mini whisk -I actually used a little more water because with regular eggs I add 1 1/2 tablespoons of water (per the recipe), I poured into each pan (I use oil in the pan) and they cooked like the normal eggs - they worked perfectly! I didn't tell my husband until he was finished eating it ---- he obviously had not seen a difference or he would have mentioned it with the first bite. Very impressed - it smelled like an egg and looked like a whipped egg ----- it was an egg! It did not have as strong an egg flavor as the organic ones I usually buy --- but I am quite sure it is similar to the regular supermarket eggs. Very happy with the product and do recommend. My next experiment will be adding to baking mixes ---- The product has a two year shelf life and is a great alternative.UPDATE: last week made French toast.....worked very well, I underestimated how much egg to use....will correct next time... Last night made fried rice which required scrambled eggs - worked perfectly! Added slightly more water.... Great product. Be sure to use a whisk to get the best consistency.

They are powdered eggs, good when fresh isn't there.
I've used these in a couple of batches of scrambled eggs. My wife doesn't care for them but she's not really a scrambled egg fan anyway. It takes me back about 65 years when my folks weren't doing that well income wise. We got "commodities" and among them were powdered eggs. These to my recollection are way better. First batch I made didn't follow "exactly" the directions. Second batch was exactly to direction. Better, but wife wouldn't taste test it. Good consistency, no objectionable odor, but I haven't baked with them yet. If things go south, you could do a whole lot worse.

Great fresh egg alternative.
Not cheap, but keeps better than fresh eggs. I believe these are a great alternative to current high egg prices.
